Next closest is Warlock, followed by Warrior. I play so little ranked every month though, since I prefer to mess around in casual with low-tier fun decks.

Lots of fun new decks to try out this expac- I've been using even handlock, odd control warrior, and combo dragon priest so far as I work my way up the ladder.
I also finally got a golden portrait!
Game 500 featured me vaporizing a cubelock with a 28/28 radiant elemental.

Oh, and that list (Still working on it, I think its fairly similar to a meta deck though)
Click for Fullsize
It's fun and can be quite powerful.

Firebat's Wisp Druid has been INSANE for me.
I don't have Black Knight, so I replaced it with Naturalize. It works well with Violet Teacher and it's good to overdraw control decks.

So I feel like they never actually playtested Shudderwock, because if they did, they'd realize how monumentally stupid and how much of a giant waste of time it is to sit through 15 minutes of animation in one game.

It's like they didn't learn from Yogg-Saron at all.

Or they expected Shudderwock to be even less effective than Yogg?

With Spiteful Druid being so hugely popular and they have a 20% chance of summoning Tyrantus, Big Game Hunter is back to being a must-include tech card.

The new solo adventure is up, but the servers are so borked right now that you can't play any of the game modes.

My brother and I were able to get five fights in on my first run before they borked up. It's hard to compare the difficulty of it compared to dungeon run, but so far it seems to be easier to manage but set up to be harder, for lack of a better term. Some of the hero powers enemies get in game are crazy, and they always have five more health points than you do, but the loot is pretty wild too, especially considering the four custom heroes have incredible powers compared to the normal classes.

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
It's annoying that the quest needs you to beat 10, but the run is only 8, so if you get a perfect run, you have to start a new one and just concede after 2 wins.
The final boss for Time Tinker is so obnoxious, I can't even begin to describe.
Her hero power is 2 mana, give a minion Mega-Windfury (4x attacks in a turn) so if you leave ANYTHING big up, you die. Oh, and did I mention if you have her on the ropes, she plays a card that RESTARTS THE GAME, BUT YOU STAY AT THE SAME LIFE. So you have to do it all over again, but with the huge disadvantage of having much less life.

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
I spectated a friend hilariously getting steamrolled by Blood Witch Gretta. Her turn 1 went Arcane Artificer > Molten Reflection > Ice Block, letting her increase her effective HP for each spell she cast until he could remove the two minions.
After a couple turns, my friend got a random copy of Pick Pocket, and he spent half his remaining life hunting for answers that weren't coming. I guess he knew it was a losing proposition by that point.

I beat the adventure. It took way less time than the last expansion's dungeon runs, but it was still pretty fun. Toki was by far the hardest boss. Hagatha was a pushover.

screw both Tokis I refuse to attempt this asinine piece of trash "challenge" ever again
at least until I irrationally feel the need to make myself furious again
which will probably be tomorrow because the level of self-abuse and punishment I feel I deserve is astronomical

If I had paid attention to the rewards I wouldn't have wasted my time I was so excited after trying it out and had my spirit ground up so finely after the first couple attempts and now there is an emptiness I don't know can ever be patched
but at least I have yet another card back in my collection to sit unused and unacknowledged forever

I don't know what everybody's so grumpy about, Toki was so much fun!
I got through her stuff on the second run-through, faster than anybody else. I've only completed with the Cannonneer and Toki though. Plus the ending was fun.

Yeah I had no trouble with Toki, she was the first mode I managed to beat. Second is ol' Tess, still need to finish with Cannoneer or Houndmaster Shaw.

I'm not playing this game much right now but when i do I play control priest, unsurprisingly
It's pretty good! It does well to decent against most decktypes. Here's one of the more unusual winning positions I've gotten myself into
Note the lifetap

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
So i don't really give a shit about most golden cards and generally turn them into dust, with a few exceptions like my golden wild pyromancer. However, I was going through my card list and I came across this:
Yeah, I had completely forgotten about this. Malygos warlock used to be my favorite deck way back when, and i crafted this waste of resources for it.
I'll hold onto him for when malygos decks are once again not a joke. SOMEDAY

You're just gonna have to go back to the old school Auchenai + Circle of Healing board clear

Eh, I'm not sure it's a buff, exactly. At least not versus control priest, the current thing I'm playing.
It's true you can't boardclear with shadowreaper anduin but twilight drake and primordial drake both trade much better, and a board of 4/4s is generally weaker and more vulnerable to clears that aren't anduin.

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
The biggest problem with Quest Rogue is the polarization in matchups. It's pretty much a guaranteed win against control and a guaranteed loss against aggro. There's no point in playing the game out, which is why it's just a completely unfun deck. You know the final result before the first turn is over. I'm not sure if the nerf is actually going to change anything with regards to that.

Well, the nerfs have certainly shaken things up. I had a druid use living mana against me just now!
It... didn't end well for him.

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
Also, I may drive to legend this month on the back of, surprise surprise, control priest. At the moment the only common-ish decks that counter it are control mage, taunt druid (sort of) and quest priest. And I never feel like I have ABSOLUTELY no chance of winning, although quest priest is pretty hard. Ideally, you need to force them to use amara before they draw zola, so you can alex them after that. Otherwise you need to work your way through around 60 hp without using alex, and I've only won that way once so far:

Re: Hearthstone Thread: How Long Can This Go On?
Control Priest is really strong. I'd add Baku Warrior to the list of counters, but I feel like I'm the only person who ever plays that deck.
