Well, it seems Kanthulhu has been at hammer-1 for quite a while. Someone remind me if that means he's scum or not- I forget if that's a tell. (I think it leads to a bit of WIFOM- if he were town, scum would jump to hammer him, but they wouldn't want to draw attention to themselves by hammering a townie, etc: WIFOM)

At the least, Kant has been playing dirty pool. Nobody gets to use a protective role, nobody gets to investigate, nobody gets to do much of anything. And later on, this will have ramifications: Scum will have a slightly easier time fakeclaiming because they get a free "Well, I'd have done something Night 1 but KANTHULHU!" pass.

If you'd held on to that power and waited to use it later in the game, maybe you could've found a town-advantageous time to throw it out there. But doing it first thing Day 1 in a game that's sure to be chock-full of day actions and wacky night-action puzzles is just begging to get everyone mad at you. You may well not be scum, but at this point you're the one who's hurt town the most.

My vote stays, if for no other reason than I think it might be a Good Idea™ to allow Lison's speed-running power to charge up. I don't know what it might do, but hey, let's find out, right?

Prediction: Kanth will flip Worst Townie Ever. We'll have a boring night, scum will pick off the one townie that'd have been bulletproof any other night, and Kanthulhu wins Scum MVP at the end of the game. :iamapony:

Hey it's kind of hard to read a thread at periodic times when people hammer a day before the deadline. If Kanth flips town I would very much like to lynch Grilox tomorrow, he seemed very interested in doing nothing but hounding Kanth and calling him scum. This is in stark contrast to lison, who seemed to actually be engaging Kanth's defense instead of just sniping from the sidelines. Basically Grilox's aggression is scummy because he was just shouting scum a lot while mostly dodging Kanth's defense.
