So I sit alone in the dark
wondering if I’ve lost my mind.
That bloody Cupid hit his mark
and you’ve completely struck me blind.
A foolish dork
on the wrong side of the world

And the night soon comes to a close
but for you it’s still just day.
I can only offer this silly prose
and go on my merry way..
So I lay down and hug my plush,
the darkness feels so cold.
