I really need to post here more! It's not easy for me to be satisfied with something I make, but that shouldn't stop me from sharing it more.

Here's a picture I'm legit pleased with - A little gift I drew for Fizzbuzz' birthday:

Image

It was partially a test for me to see how long it would take me to draw something like this if I focus from start to finish (answer: about 1-2 hours), and partially more fawning over this lineart brush I'm using. I generally enjoy linearting the least, but dang, this brush makes it much more fun and lively. I'm strongly considering to make a thread where people can share their favorite brush settings for their art program of choice.

This is a superb picture and the lineart is so crisp and clean, great job!

And I would absolutely love a thread about brush settings etc, I try out a lot of different ones and have found some really neat ones over time, at least for me

I know I kind of said this already, but I really love that picture. I wish I could've seen it being made during a stream, but that would've ruined the surprise, wouldn't it? Maybe you can stream another picture and we can properly see Sai 2 and your newer brushes in action.

I've been using SAI 2 and these brush settings for the past few months, so you've seen them in action already! Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough. :v: This time, I was just curious how fast I can work at this skill level if I focus without distractions. Streams are hella fun to do and very relaxing/encouraging for me, but they distract me a bit more by their very nature, so I was curious where the difference would be. Ideally, I'll be able to be that fast during a stream at some point, but I think I'll need more practice for that.

I think the color of your OC could be a bit darker (either that, or have a dark bg color behind her). She's pretty hard to see.

Interesting style, though! I like your cartoony work. :awesomedash:

I like how the facial features look in this style, and without outlines the whole body looks quite dynamic. However, I don't go for the skinny legs. They look like insects.

I sold a bunch of virtual garbage on Steam and bought Aseprite with the resulting cash. It's a fun lightweight spriting program! I had tried the demo before, and I figured I'd enjoy the full version enough to buy it.

To give it a proper test whirl, I made this little pupper today:

During a little, impromptu stream today, the chat and I collectively came up with the Thigh Elf:

And Thigh Elf cares about one thing: Their dance moves!

Was fun to challenge myself to more interesting posing. I should do that more often.
