Alright, well, this is awkward. Basically, me and some dudes got stupid after 2am and wrote a thing.

What I'm thinking about is getting some illustrations to go with it. I'm still not sure which scenes specifically. Style wise I'd like them to be like the illustrations in a children's book. Not necessarily in color. If you read the story, you'll know that quality is not an issue. I'll take basically anything. Scratchy sketches done in five minutes are perfectly fine.

At this point I'm looking at about 4 to 5 illustrations for key scenes. I'm not sure what constitutes a key scene just yet, but I wanted to check and see if anyone was interested first and see what pricing is like. They don't all need to be from the same artist either, so if any of y'all are interested, feel free to let me know.

The Illustrations I'd like to get:

• Title Page. Done now
• Spike at the one man Gunshow. Replaced with LemonAIDS.png
• Spike Falls Down The Stairs.
• A Wild :Godna: Appears.
• "You Got It Boss"

But if anyone wants to draw a different scene, I can swap them out. The whole point of the story is there were no real rules. The art should be the same way.

This is great. I don't even really know what kind of bird he's supposed to be. I was picturing a sort of road runner thing, but this works too! The text is perfect, by the way.

I'll just apply that bird's color scheme to this, then.
Next I'll make some more solid lines, then add a more feathered texture, then colors. I think. I think that's the order I'll do that in.
It might be a bit, because I'm in over my head somewhat with NaNoWriMo, but it shouldn't be too long. At least I have nothing else besides that and this to do.

Hollow, I have a commission for you. Three avatars, full colour, one pony per image. They can be large images (I'd prefer it!) but the line weight should be appropriate for sizing down to 125x125. Show-style, transparent backgrounds. How much would you charge for something like that?

Depends on how many ponies will be in it, and how detailed it is. But if it's two ponies and a BG it'd probably be $20, since it's just a banner.

Question, when a commission is done, does the person that paid for said work receive the original physical drawing? Or do they only receive a digital copy?

I suppose it doesn't really matter, considering it could just be printed out with and on quality materials and none would be the wiser.

Depends on the terms of the commission. If the person you're commissioning uses real media, then usually you get the finished product, but just as many artists nowadays are purely digital, and often they'll simply give you a high-res image unless stated otherwise.

It all comes down to the terms you agree on beforehand, just make sure you get the form of the final deliverable stated at the outset.
