I figure Loony Luna is fine because, while it's pretty much horror, it isn't actually violent. Luna went bonkers and we're seeing what she sees or something, or maybe her god powers are manifesting in an odd way because she's lost it. The art is disturbing and that's pretty much the extent of it.

I follow a lot of pony tumblrs, and I've seen a lot more than that, but I don't think I've seen one before that's as just plain wrong as this one.

Edit: Too far? I'm not sure, but I think it's something that goons would laugh at without it really being creepy.

@PhoalCat: Slice of Pony Life has already become one of my favorite askblogs on all of tumblr. Ego draws some damn adorable ponies and while Moonstuck isn't bad, the concept just bored me pretty quickly. Slice of Pony Life is definitely more my style and I always adore it when people give background characters more attention with askblogs.

The writing style just feels like it flows seamlessly from the show, like this is what "FiM:TNG" would look like if they kept the same production staff and general setting and rolled it all forward a few years along with a slight bump in audience age.

The humor style and the pace of worldbuilding is really spot-on.

So, um... I'm terribly sorry for the incoming OT, but I thought the two had in common at least the "ask tumblr" topic.
The site http://bronyfunds.com/ is trying to get money for five blog authors (Ask Chrysalis, Ask Pirate Dash, Ask DreamBaker, Ask Fizzies and Bitter Frost's mod) that ran into bad luck. I myself gave 100$, but... it's not doing that well, despite extending the original 1-week term to other 7 days. So I thought posting about it here might help them a bit...

At least we'll still have slice of pony life though! Even though the updates are more sporadic, the payoff is so good.
