Regarding episodes that focuses on secondary character, would it be a stretch to say that we'll get one that focuses on one, and it will have absolutely NO appearance of the Mane 6 what-so-ever?

It would really only work if it was centered around Spike (Which would be perfect).

I also want to see an episode that is similar to the Father Ted episode "Sleepy Burpy Cheap Sheep" where someone does the "right thing" but they end up screwing themselves over. Or maybe it is centered on a ridiculous contest but it is treated as "serious business". Or perhaps it is about rumors and how they can go straight out of proportion. It wouldn't be out of character for Ponyville to fall into a bout of mass hysteria.

I know there are several episodes focusing on Spike, but it'd be neat to have one that's totally about him, with little to no interaction from Twilight and others. Like, he and Peewee go on a crazy adventure together. It'd be the best thing ever.

I'd like to see an episode about Twilight dealing with celebrity. I think she's the only Mane 6 who hasn't had a brushie with stardom yet (Maybe Applejack as well? ), and her political/family connections are just crying out to be used.

Know what would make me giddy? Seeing Celestia raise the sun again, except much longer. Say, she rolls out of bed, does the whole mirror-look-grimace-glowing-horn-suddenlyperfecthair thing, walks out to her balcony, bows her head, lights her horn, and jumps skyward, floating up slowly as the camera zooms out gradually, Celestia flapping her wings gently as the sun starts to spill over Canterlot castle. And then once the camera's zoomed out enough, a pony walking up the pathway to the castle is visible. Say, Twilight, on her way to the castle to meet with the princess. She stops, awed, shakes her head and smiles, remarking to herself or Spike about how much she's missed watching it.

A good, 30 second animated (and orchestrated) sequence like that would be such a great indulgence. Heck, as long as I'm wishing for things like that, I'd love another one where Luna brings out the moon and stars. My favorite piece of music William Anderson's composed in the show played during the scene where Shining Armor and Cadance regenerated their power and defeated Chrysalis. I'd love to hear something of that magnitude during a celestial-body moving scene.

I know 20-30 seconds is a long time for a 22 minute show, but that's the kind of fan service I'd love to see. If they do it, I'm sure the writers could figure some way to use the time it takes properly and tie it into the episode's storyline.

I wonder if Celestia has to go through that whole routine on any day besides the Summer Sun Celebration.
For one thing, that sunrise is very fast compared to a regular one. Even on the show the dawn scenes don't have the sun nearly leaping to mid-morning from below the horizon.

A whole lot of the effort put into that sun raising was probably just for show.
She probably raises the sun while she's sipping her tea most mornings.
