I'm actually amazed how well I'm handling no new ponies this summer. June already! Working 9 hour shifts and looking forward to bronycon help.
I haven't even had to start re-watching eps yet....but I did have to paint a nice Chrysalis after the finale. She's too cool :awesomedash:

I've only just realized that for the ponies with the most "horselike" manecuts, tail-flicking as a way of expressing annoyance is a pretty common thing. You don't see it much with Pinkie or Rarity or Fluttershy, but Twilight (see her sarcastic "mee-mee-mee-mee" bit in Ep.1) and especially Rainbow Dash do it quite a lot.

It's put to especially good use in the un-Discordification of RD, when the color returning to her tail calms its frantic thrashing right down.

The less solid the tail the more ridiculous it looks waving around. Pinkie is just cotton candy.
