Suffice to say, I'm very disappointed at the lack of absurdity in the results. Youtube CC only hears what it wants to hear, whether or not it's actually what it heard.

Magic Nolandas sound....magical. "Views even have to have a elements of harmony!" I take this to mean that, during pony viewing parties, all of the adult pony fans are nice to each other, but as soon as the show ends, they start arguing about best pony. But yeah, reading the youtube captions out loud sounds like a thing that should happen! Whooo we won't go mad during the summer!

Heh, you guys can record some eps of your own if you want. I don't have the focus to do more than a handful at a slow pace, nor for managing a group, even. Trying to arrange the transcription is hard enough, since YTCC doesn't always know when one character stops talking and another starts. I'm all for having more of these come, if anyone else can get a collaboration started.

I downloaded the BGM and underlaid it beneath my reading in a DAW, mixed it to be timed it to the original, then imported it into iMovie and removed all original audio from the clip. The video editing was the easiest part, because I didn't care if the lip sync was off. I probably would leave parts completely silent as well, since no version on Youtube seems to be able to discern them.
