Right on the heels of the news that she's pregnant with her fourth child, Tori Spelling has another important announcement: She's hosting the "My Little Pony" Royal Wedding.

After serving as co-host for E!'s coverage of Prince William and Kate Middleton's British Royal Wedding last year, Spelling is reprising her role for the union of Princess Celestia’s niece, Princess Cadence, to Twilight Sparkle’s brother, Shining Armor, on the animated series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic."

As part of the festivities, Spelling will host a "bridle" shower event at the Tea House in Culver City on Saturday, April 14 and appear in the commercials for the wedding special.

The two-part "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" Royal Wedding episode, “A Canterlot Wedding,” will air on Saturday, April 21, from 1-2 p.m. ET on The Hub.

I'd love for Jason to be asked about a finale. With it's popularity and fanbase, when the shows end does come, will there be a proper finale?

I notice that cartoons these days do have proper finales (as opposed to the last episode being just another story that can run in any order). I wouldn't be surprised if FIM will have one.

I belive she'll be a character in the episode. Sort of like Pinkie and SPike commentating the race in Fall Weather Friends, this new charatcer will be commentating the wedding for radio or whatever ponies have.

Could be wrong though, mgiht just be a publicity stunt IRL to tie in with the episode but i'm leaning more towards the 'is in episode' side.

I doubt this. It sounds like it's just going to be a publicity stunt/promo thing. It's possible Hasbro forced her on them as a guest star, but that doesn't really make much sense to me.

Edit: I read the thing again and it does make her sound she's going to be a character in the episode, too. I don't know. Never mind.

Surprised EqD hasn't caught on yet that this will be a reliably timed thing... oh well, I can wait this time.

I think this episode ends up being a straightforward but fun romp, gag-heavy, as we learn some other sides to our favorite characters. It might start out slow but it looks like it will be a laughfest by Act II.

Ah, I see, Snips & Snails don't mind at all (good use of them), so Gabby Gums will start out well. This is definitely Act I and will turn sour fast... :v:

The basement of the school building is nicely shaded, as Diamond Tiara will eventually run an underground mudslinging thing - I can't wait for more climactic moments in there. This is looking pretty good.

-It seems like they recorded some OC "wow look at that paper" lines in whatever voices, but when applied to the youngins, it sounds like they have puberty a bit. :gotcha:

-I don't see any other new cutie marks on these OC ponies. :pinkieshrug:

So cutie marks physically alter the growing pattern of a pony's coat... now that's real magic right there Headless :v:

E: Diamond Tiara sounds a bit more... generic. Maybe I'm imagining it.

or did I get used to the voice in friendship is witchcraft because honestly i can't remember how she is supposed to sound in the actual show :nngh:

those background ponies sound so old its hilarious they probably told whoever voiced them "ok here is your line" but they never told them they weren't adults :v:
