WELCOME TO THE MOST SERIOUS ELITE WORLD OF TANKS CLAN-- okay just kidding. A few of you have, in the past, asked about a pony-related clan. It’s been a while coming, but we’ve finally created a clan for bronies, touting the name Ponygoons [PONY].

Ponygoons is, at its core, a clan that is concerned with the well-being of its members first and foremost. We are a casual, friendly clan for fans of both WoT and FiM. It doesn’t matter what tier tank you have, all are welcome. We do request that you be moderately active (as in don't join if you never plan on playing the game again), but we won’t bug you about grinding or anything. This clan will simply give us all a place to converge in game.

Do we want to do clanwars? Our answer to that, for now, is eventually. Out of the gate we will not have the strength to land, let alone hold a province. In the future I’d certainly like to see Europe united under a flag of friendship and magic, but that will come in time. And when it does come we will still be casual about it. No one is obligated to enter clan battles if they don’t want to.

Our goal is to have FUN. This is a game, after all. As soon as you stop having fun, it stops being a game and starts being a job. That’s what happened in our last clan, and I created this clan with the intention of not letting that happen.

So yeah, that’s that. If you’d like to join us in our campaign for friendship, go here and join up. You guys are all free to join, just let me know what your in-game nick is in this thread. Westy543 and a couple others from our previous clan are heading this up, and any bronies we run across who express interest will be directed here to introduce themselves and apply for the clan.

We will still keep up the Ponygoons chat channel (password poniponiponi), so even if you don’t want to join the clan, you can still come chat with us in game.

Cool clans we are on good terms with: EFR (Everfree Radio), ERAD, EDF, PLOT, RDDT (RDTT2, RDDT3, RDDT4, RDDT5), VETS. PLOT is really the only other decent pony clan aside from a few ERAD members.

Replaces all those lame voices with the voices from the Tiger from Company of Heroes. If you like angry German men shouting at you this is for you! Just drop the files into the "World_of_Tanks_closed_Beta\res\audio" folder (make backups).

You mean the aerial view? Just hit shift. Just move your mouse around wherever, and your vehicle will automatically turn to line the gun up, though a red line means you have no line to your target. Keep in mind that doing this resets the firing bloom; hit X to lock your treads. Just like with tank sniper modes, you can hold right click to turn around without moving your gun.

Hope that helps.

The default for me is E. Just use whatever key you normally scope with in your other tanks. Instead of scoping, you'll go into that aerial view.

Believe it or not, arties are much easier in high tier battles. In low tiers, all the light tanks zerg rush the artillary in the first minute of the game, and even if you can get a shot off it's impossible to hit anyone because they're all going 60 km/h. Higher tier battles have nice slow tanks that make for massive targets. Hence, artillery is rather difficult to push through if it's the first tree you're trying, but good luck!

Also Grilox, you'll love the T92. You could practically fire cars out of that cannon.

I decided to cave and finally give this a shot. First battle I joined, none of the models loaded in properly so everybody was invisible except for me (including the other team). I promptly got blown up by something I couldn't see.

Second try, the models loaded properly, but then the game crashed before I even saw any enemies.

I updated my graphic drivers and never had a problem with disappearing tanks since. But yeah I'm pretty sure everyone's tanks disappear for some odd reason on the first playthrough.
