[Cheese]Bronies Love Cheese

Post by WhitemageofDOOM (?) » Thu May 12, 2011 11:35 am

Ok it's clear to us we all love cheese.

Since we don't want the IRC thread devoured by cheesey goodness we shall have a new thread dedicated to cheese.
ALL CHEESE ALL THE TIME. :D

So talk about your favorite cheeses, post pictures of them, post fan art of ponies eating cheese, i dunno just keep it on cheesey goodness.

I ordered one of these at Dennys yesterday.

It's basically a grilled cheese sandwich with mozzarella sticks stuck in.

It was awesome, I regret nothing!

But SatanicVEGAN, why ever would you not like our cheese thread? :derp:

I had a Paula Deen cheese recipe yesterday (minus the ham). It'll be a miracle I'm not lactose intolerant because of it. In any case, the best cheese is chèvre. I'm glad we got that settled.

Also I'm going to dodger's party. Port Wine is my favorite cracker cheese.

Colby and Jack are delicious.

Mostly beer :glare:

I've actually never seen anything that says that about cheese specifically. I've only ever read stuff about general farming and agriculture in that regard, and how alcohol production/beer brewing paralleled the rise of civilization. I would be interested to read about it if you have any articles handy, actually. I love that kinda stuff :flutterdear:

The IRC thread went on a two page derail about cheese.

This is totally a real thing. :crack:

Cheese and beer both share the same key property that made them developmentally necessary to agricultural civilization.
They don't go bad. Even if cheese gets moldy you can just cut the mold off and there's good clean cheese under there ready to eat.

Mozzarella needs to be fresh, drizzled in olive oil and topped with basil.
It is also acceptable smoked and/or braided
