Which is stupid, I know, but I've never actually done much with mafia, so I expect a lot of failures on my part while I go through a trial by fire. This should be entertaining to watch!

Well, I originally played a version of it when the movie called "Cry Wolf" (or something) came out some odd years ago. I actually think trying to find the lies and twists in people's words and watching their twitches and such to see if they are who they say they are is pretty fun -- it's also good mental stimulation, as you have to remember what they've already said to try to catch them in a lie.

I sort of think of it as a dynamic Phoenix Wright game where if you guess wrong or miss a certain bit of important information you get stabbed in the face. :pinkieshrug:

You guys get too anxious about this game. Relax and have fun. It doesn't matter if you win or lose as long as you give it your best shot. Some of the most fun I've had playing this game was in games where I didn't necessarily win (Although pulling off an awesome ruse and winning as mafia is always fun.)

This game isn't too hard too understand and after a few games with us you'll get a hang of it. (except W.T., he's the worst mafia player. :iamapony:

Generally, I like it because it really tests your brain. You have to think of what does and does not sound reasonable, see if people contradict themselves, and figure out if there's something that doesn't fit and pick at it until you figure out what's going on.

I see it as a Phoenix Wright game where "losing a case" gets you stabbed in the face. :pinkieshrug:

Thanks, haha. I'm always apprehensive about anything new I do, and this is something I've had very little practice with. Not to mention I have no idea how to work EpicMafia or join you guys or whatever.

With so few pixels to work with (20x20?), it's going to be tough to represent a generic pony clearly, and using a specific one from the show is probably a bad idea.

Puzzlement's made a handful of pixel ponies after making the TF2 ones which were based off of the EpicMafia style. You can find 'em here. I think we can try to get him to make a generic one.
