Souls-like multiplayer?
I've been looking all over the internet for suggestions on souls-like multiplayer games, but everything is just souls-like gameplay, not so much the "lots of different fun ways to interact with each other's worlds" sorta things. Sooo, any suggestions?? (best if they're free or cheep cheep cheep)

Re: Souls-like multiplayer?
there's a game called The Castle Doctrine that i love very much. it never got very popular and was even pretty dead for a time, but the latest reviews on Steam suggest it's no longer dead
the game differs from Souls games in that it's more of a roguelikey all-or-nothing affair. you either get robbed blind or die trying to rob someone else. there are a few exceptions where you get to keep a robber's tools if they leave without using them, and i think there's some mechanic where half your money is held by your wife and half is in your safe
it's also not like, active face-to-face multiplayer but more of a "build a house and watch how people attempt to rob it" type of thing, but it feels very souls-inspired regardless
e: it looks like the developer has just gotten back into trying to improve the game in the event of a shallow playerbase, and in doing so has attracted more players
