Actually. I myself didn't mind her in that episode that much, because she did feel bad for it and apologised for it in the end.

That's what reminds me of something that I've said before in another thread. At first I had seen people not forgive Rarity for her flaws, and instead dislike her for them, while RD's flaws were ignored and she was branded the best pony, but lately in some places it was the opposite, and I find it a peculiar shift, though its probably because of the latest episodes and them being more favorable to Rarity than Rainbow.

My personal favorite will always be Twilight, though. She's just so sweet and dorky.

(And then I realised there are literally no positive smilies of Twilight. )

RD seems shallow because she's p much the opposite of "still waters run deep" and she wears her heart completely on her sleeve - what you see is what you get, BUT that doesn't that's all you get.

I wonder if there will be any kind of call back to Stare Master in the episode, via Pinkie briefly calling upon Fluttershy to help due to her prior experience, or something like that. I'd give it about a 40-50% chance.

It may just be me hoping for more Fluttershy screentime, though.

You'd think Mare-Do-Well would have had a callback to Boast Busters, in that case.

Though I'm sure a lot will depend on the writer. Sisterhooves felt like it was full of unspoken little nods to Look Before You Sleep, though none of them were overt.

Pinkie gets Rainbow Dash to help, and Rainbow Dash just happened to be helping Scootaloo in a flying lesson that day. The Cake Kids love watching them fly and calm down as they enjoy an entire episode about Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo!

Pinkie arranges a party to cheer them up, but it's too loud and partyish, so the Cake kids cry some more. Then something something and Pinkie figures out how to take care of very young ponies.

Interestingly, some of the episodes had alternate names

"Stare Master" was originally "Fluster-Shy"
"May the Best Pet Win!" was "The Tortoise and the Mare"
"Secret of My Excess" was "Attack of the 50 Foot Dragon"

(and it's not noted in the page, but according to one of the animators, "Suited for Success" was initially called "Dress for Failure")

Yeah, sounds about right.

This is something I've been waiting for on Dash's end. As much as I like her, she is by far the least-developed of the six.
Plus if it involves BOOKS, you know Twilight's gonna be in on it.
...here's to hoping Merriweather Williams didn't get her hands on that episode, though.

Sounds awesome, but why is the title not "Reading Rainbow Dash"? I mean it's so obvious.
