After watching the preview, this episode is looking to be a lot of fun.

I'm also glad to see AJ is looking to have more screen time in this episode than I previously assumed. She is supposed to be missing after all.

SO the "looking for AJ" part will take up less of the episode then we thought. There will be a bit of trying to find out why she wont come back home and then convincing her to come home.

That prompted me to look up my downloaded vector traces because I couldn't remember what her tail looked like — and discovered that she has the wrong tail in one of them! And in the shot from "Call of the Cutie" that it was taken from! Am I the first to notice that? I'm not about to go through that whole animation error compilation to check.

I wonder if they used that background pony with cherry cutie mark (who is also the balloon pony in the poster) for Cherry Jubilee. That will confirm they would rather use fanon/g1 names than blind bag names (Cherry Berry? ugh).

Things that I glean from the clip:

- AJ is now working at her old friend's Orchard.
- Her friends are there to try to get her to come home.
- AJ doesn't want to talk about the real reasons she's refusing to go back to Sweet Apple Acres.
- The rest of them got "jobs" there just to get in so they could talk to her. They may only be there for one day even.
- Those "things" on the belt are cherries red and...yellow ones for some reason.

This is all from one watch so I could be wrong, but, I don't get all the "I don't get it" talk in here.

Well, the description made it sound like the ponies will spend most of the episode looking or AJ. So, if we assume the leaked clip is closer to the beginning of the episode, then we have the main synopsis plot points (rodeo and the search for AJ) already wrapped up by this point. You have to admit it's pretty strange.

I had a feeling the actual 'search' for Applejack wouldn't actually amount to much of the real episode time, so all of the above makes sense to me.

One thing I'm curious about now is what city or area Cherries Jubilee's cherry orchard/processing plant is going to be located. From the sound of things, it won't be Ponyville or Canterlot - any guesses or hopes?

If it's an episode about chopping down cherry trees, then it would have to be Westmareland or Cherry Farm.

This and all the cherry talk are reminding me of how I often get the cherries in the first slot of the Super Mario Bros. 2 USA extra-life mini-game purely through my natural reaction time from when the slots start cycling again.

It seemed to me Cherries Jubilee was a -new- friend- AJ saw her peddling cherries at the rodeo and started a conversation with her, "bein' orchard folk an' all."

I'm not entirely sure about the exact reason AJ doesn't want to go home, but I'd bet a bowl of cherries that stubborn pride has something to do with it. (Maybe she didn't win the rodeo? Maybe she finished really poorly somehow?)

I bet they didn't all get jobs at the cherry factory - they just have to wear the hairnets because Pony OSHA says so. (Also, because they're adorable.

) They weren't working in the Cloudsdale weather factories, but they wore the lab coats there like everyone else.

It sounds like she's making up the story on the spot though, so their history together may go back further.
