I found it. The worst ad on the Internet.
Behold:
There are so, so many layers to what's wrong with this, starting with the fact that what it's advertising for exists at all.

This is the kind of thing that gives internet adultery a bad name.

It was the first I heard of them, because I'm terminally out of the loop. Specifically, 1-800 Flowers' response to the incident:

I’m not exactly proud I knew of it before then, so don’t sweat it
Somehow I’m not surprised that they’ve found a new way to be terrible

Yeah, I'd thought that would spell doom but I guess any publicity is good publicity, and data breaches are ephemeral but peeps tryna get wet in increasingly byzantine and unethical ways is eternal

I suppose I could grudgingly admit that Ashley Madison serves one useful purpose: keeping married people off other dating sites. So you don't end up in a scenario like in the sitcoms where you find out the hard way that your girlfriend is actually married to a 400-pound gorilla with a short temper.

I've got nothing wrong with people having multiple partners and open relationships and such, but the site seems to be encouraging and facilitating dishonesty about that kind of thing.

When their tagline is literally telling you to have an affair, then yeah, that's definitely not a site for healthy relationships.West Filly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 7:16 amI've got nothing wrong with people having multiple partners and open relationships and such, but the site seems to be encouraging and facilitating dishonesty about that kind of thing.
