I really don't understand what the Juralians' evil plan was, but kudos to the animators for at least trying to get the appearance of boxing right.
Also, Ken has really good balance to be able to stand on the ring's ropes.

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
As best as I can tell, the Juralian plan is “trick Ken into fistfighting one of us so he’ll be defeated.” But Ken just shoots them all with the Alpha Gun, like he always does, so I don’t know what they were expecting
Maybe Juralians are just bright-eyed optimists at heart

Maybe they wanted to kill a few boxers because that would show humanity. Maybe they wanted to box and kill everyone in the world, one at a time because that's an efficient plan.

It's a shame the future hasn't heard of cloud services or redundant computer systems.
I always crack up when they just awkwardly gape in silence like at 3:21.

He finally caught on that if someone is messing with something important to humans, it's probably Juralians.

Boy, for a series finale it sure was underwhelming
The song at the final scene was kinda random. Nothing really to do with what was going on, and Caron was barely in this episode to begin with.

"We see Ken and Caron's silhouettes," sing the children's choir, as we never see Ken or Caron again.
If they had that many warships, why didn't the Juralians just launch their offensive on day one? Why'd they bother pretending to be boxers or old ladies or handsome jerks?
If they had this whole fleet of anti-Juralian jets, why haven't they ever used them before?
Why can't even the Juralian flagship take more than one hit from the Sky Rod if their technology is 500 years ahead of Earth's?
Also, you'd think that a 10-year-old flying into a death-defying final battle against an alien war fleet would be the moment for someone -- anyone -- to say something more profound than, "Ken!"

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
It's interesting that most anime always had a planned final episode, even on a show like this (compared to US shows, where cartoons having actual finale is a relatively recent phenomenon).
At the same time, I'm not kidding when I say it's really half-assed. It's Ken killing Juralians as usual, except this time, he killed the Devil King leader. Same amount of recycled animation, half-assed "action" shots.
In another words, a perfect, fitting end to what was ultimately a half-assed show

Did the Juralians steal Barican's antennae?
Best part is "we're a council full of adults, but let's send the kid out first." I mean, at least they were helping him this time?
There is no Utopia if Chargeman Ken is around. Juralians were first, humans are next.

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
The Juralians finally realize that they can just blow everything up, the humans realize that they can blow up the Juralians, and the council is all "eh, whatever, send in the sociopathic 10-year-old to kill the leader." Nobody seems to care that the base is just off the coast of Japan somewhere, which means that they could have found and destroyed the base at any time. So it makes perfect sense as a finale for a show like Chargeman Ken.

In the end, the real Juralians were the friends we made along the way.

I wonder if there are any Juralians still around, disguised as humans forever now.

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
This adaptation of the Little Prince has an absolutely fascinating backstory to it... not least because it was made by the studio behind our favorite anime, Chargeman Ken
edit: the changes to this show during its dub are and it’s not a great show to begin with

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
Yeah, Knack was probably one of the crappiest studios in Japan. I mean, they made "Chargeman Ken", and "Dame Oyaji" (clips of which were shown in that vid) had some spectacularly awful animation that not even Filmation would have done.
And wow, I had no idea they butchered the dub so much.

It was... something... to discover that Jameson Brewer has taken a mediocre show and made it so much worse.Mr. Big wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 2:14 amYeah, Knack was probably one of the crappiest studios in Japan. At least now I have an inkling as to why I hated this show so much as a kid, because it certainly doesn’t respect the kids in its audience. “Don’t worry, kids, Yuri’s fine, he’s just gone to a farm upstate to recuperate with all the other bears”

I was in an ignorant bliss until I got this video in my Youtube subscriptions.
I watched it and I cannot go back.

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
Something I noticed
From Episode 44, where the title translates to "Beat the Fake Ken!" but they made a typo with "Yatsukero" (Japanese for defeating others)
It should say やっつけろ, but they wrote it as やっけろ
So "Yakkero", which is not a word
The production REALLY did not give a shit about this show's quality

At least it's the kinda typo you'd expect to see in japanese, since it's a missing repeat character... but holy moly they didn't have a single proofreader huh?

Re: Let's Watch Chargeman Ken!
Also realized, they used the wrong kanji for imposter.
Both say "nisemono", but 偽物 (used in the title card) refers to fake OBJECTS, like counterfeit money. When referring to someone impersonating another person, it's 偽者, which is what they should have used in the title card.

I'm sad that I never checked on this topic when it was going on, chargeman ken is just an absolutely insane show, and I would have loved to follow along with y'all, cause instead I just kinda ignored it entirely
