You may think it's dumb but noodles are one of life's treasures. Some of mankind's greatest discoveries are the many sauces, meats, meat substitutes and seasonings that accompany noodles. Whether it's spaghetti bolognese or pad thai, it's got the winning texture stringing it together. And to think that at one point we made the conscious decision to turn plants into these textureful long strands. I think we knew that in spite of the effort it takes to turn flour into such an unnatural shape, it'd be something of great value to almost everyone. Now there's a whole world of variations, and I feel blessed to live in a time where we have access to the world's shared knowledge and innovation of noodles.

I treasure the ability to organize our experiences and the recorded experiences of others into compelling narratives and to thereby extract meaning, value, and catharsis.
Also small hats that can be worn by stuffed animals are quite good

To live true to yourself. With dignity. With grace. Knowing that what you do is true to yourself. To be yourself, despite fear. Despite adversity. Nurture your spirit. Nurture your body. Be you in everything.

Best? Why does everything have to be a competition?
