"Almost there" is better in my opinion

A song about hard work and hope with a kick-ass animation style and a killer swing has more points than the villain's song.

The whole movie is a masterpiece because the music, the setting, the American-ness of it.

It's one of the few Disney movies I made sure to buy buy on BluRay.

It's these.

Villain songs are always the best because you have a lot more options when writing in a minor key. Sticking with diatonic major kind of limits what you're allowed to do, musically.

They call that "The Modulation of Cowardice" I'm pretty sure, I think that's the official musical term.

AND the infamous Four Chords of Pop, no less. I wonder if it's the first Disney song to use those. It's certainly not the last, since it came up in both "You're Welcome" (the variant that starts on the third chord and wraps around; sometimes these songs are in a minor key since the third chord is minor, but in this case it's in the key of the first chord) and "How Far I'll Go".
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking isn't thinking of...

I like Hercules. I relate to young Herc not fitting in. I relate to the message of "Work hard, get swole". Then you've got Megara. She is top tier as far as Disney female love interests go, because for a change it's not "look at me I've never even tasted lips before but I'm in love with this rich man forever and ever *swoon*". No, her first song is "been there, done that" and her relationship arc is more about how she has a crush on Hercules but doesn't want to. I find her much more relatable.

Also this song used to make me cry as a kid

But in all fairness it's not as though Disney can't make an instantly recognizable theme tune for themselves.

but if you want to argue it's not a song then I'll argue
