excellent question! you would think, given the context, that these would be such tins as one might keep tea in. you would think that, and you would be very wrong, because these are firmly in the "altoids" category of tins

having said that, they're not ugly or anything

and the cranberry vanilla wonderland tea is also very tasty

will do! of note is that the sugar cookie and candy cane ones were also available last year, so I already know what they taste like (good, they taste good). This was the first time I'd had the other two, though.

What is actual tea? Does it have to be black tea, fully caffeinated?

No, but black is one of the 5 kinds. All tea is from the one bush, Camellia sinensis, and anything other than that leaf, isn't tea.
