Really I would've been okay with the ending had they not chosen Bran as king. It made no sense and then to top it off, he was all "WHY DO YOU THINK I CAME ALL THIS WAY? I KNEW ALL ALOOOONG!" Uggggghhhh. They had a perfectly reasonable option in Gendry, who has the Baratheon bloodline and the only rightful claim once Jon gets sent to The Wall. Everything else could've stayed the same and it would've been acceptable, but that whole scene where they were choosing a new king was soooo cringey.

Welp, at least the North got to claim independence with Sansa as their leader.

I expected a lot of shit after the last few episodes but I think that it was a sensible ending.
I really don't mind Bran being the king, as well as Tyrion being his Hand.
The only minor problems I have is that Jon is exiled, Sansa ruling the North, and Arya going West.
I understand why but I still liked if Jon was king of the North.
Arya's journey to the West feels totally like the ending of Lord of the Rings.

Not only that, but Sam also had a book written of the entire GoT story, which is extremely LotR.

Also, I think Sansa makes a much better leader of the North than Jon. She's much more decisive and doesn't cling to honor like Jon and Ned, which ended up being both of those characters' undoing.

The ending really wasn't that bad, I was surprised how happy it was. All the surviving characters basically got what they wanted.

The problem was the journey to get there made no sense. It's like Twilight getting her wings. Very good episode, but the buildup to that wasn't there.


But the episode had this, so it's good.
