initially i had something that looked like this and decided to play around with the options to see if i could make something better. the upside to the old design is that the bunny head uses only 5 layers so the 6th can be whatever you want

e: here's another variant of the old banner where i tried to make it look like the bun is sitting

and now i've encountered a bug with one of this server's SMP plugins that turns a banner's base color black if you log out with it in your inventory:

so i've come up with a few workarounds for both designs where black is assumed to be the base color:

unfortunately it seems the blushy bun can only be executed by turning it black

the simpler design has a similar counterpart in which the banner's base color is the actual background and not part of the bun. it still uses 5 layers too. the 6th layer can then be used for a number of alterations including imperfectly changing the background color, changing the bun's expression, or giving the bun a body
