When Rainbow Dash discovers that a new masked avenger has been stealing her thunder as Ponyville's resident hero, she attempts to reclaim her glory by doing various heroic acts, but she encounters many problems on her quest.

This is the thread for all of your TV/IV bullshit, so keep it contained here. Remember that spoiler moratorium is in effect until 3 AM Eastern time / 12 AM Pacific time (UTC 08:00 -8) - so post any related fanart, avs, etc in here until moratorium is up. The episode airs at 10 AM Eastern time on the Hub on Saturday, November 26.

Going to stick by my earlier prediction that the mysterious mare is in fact Rainbow Dash sleepwalking. Maybe wearing her Shadowbolts outfit, which was just too cute not to be reused.

Won't be watching ponies live. The Mars Science Laboratory is due to launch from Cape Canaveral at 10:05 Saturday EST. I'll be watching that live and Ponies on a rerun. Twilight would understand. :science: :twismug:

Okay prediction time - Dash becomes a villain in trying to locate this "hero" - creating some kind of acted scene where Fluttershy is all "help, help" and dash is pretending to tie her up and leave her on the train tracks or something. Heck, bout time ponyville's new railroad made an appearance inside the episode.

Then maybe it becomes the Dash who cried wolf? Or maybe the new masked hero needs help and they team up to overcome the... uh... thing that's happening?

We had a Sweetie Belle-centric episode in Sisterhooves Social, we had an Apple Bloom-centric episode in Cutie Pox, it's time for Scootaloo to shine as the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. I know, Scootaloo isn't old enough to be considered a mare yet, but she needs the spotlight for an episode!

I really have no guesses about this episode. The only thing it reminds me of is South Park's "The Coon" saga, and I don't think MLP's going to take the concept in the same direction. Even though Mintberry Crunch would make an excellent pony name.

Unknown One-Shot Pony would be kind of a let-down, wouldn't it, though? It'd be like one of those scenes where the bad guy unmasks the unconscious hero and says, "I don't have the slightest idea who this is."

I'm going to say Trixie, for two reasons - first, she's probably the most popular one-shot character from season 1, and second, heel-face turns are generally more interesting than an existing good character becoming a "masked avenger" just because.

However, odds really go with a new one-shot character.
