Question: Would it be possible for an automated process to go through and replace every instance of "bronibooru.mlponies.com/data" with "s3.amazonaws.com/bronibooru"? Because that would fix all of the broken images in the art threads. :crack:

I know that there is a (disquieting) overlap of Pony fans and gun fans, but I'd like to request that we tone down the Pony + gun pictures.

I know you're mostly american and believe that shooting at each other and riding around machines of death is all well and good as long as nobody ever has sex*, but guns+ponies is still a bad mix.

However, those are obviously outdated numbers since there's been an increase. In the period between 10000 and 20000, the average number of daily posts increased to approximately 131.57 posts/day (might be double counting 8/29 here, but number should be close). Because of that increase, it only took 76 days to reach 20000. If this pattern were to hold, we would be seeing image 30000 around January 28th, 2012.

I'm surprised the rate has held roughly constant for the past 20000 images. This could be attributed to the summer boom leveling off as the season started?

I think no one really cares. The forums already have Twilight's face as the favicon so it can't be stealth reasons.

Do you regularly browse artists' sites for the latest and greatest pony art before it even hits Bronibooru? Consider becoming a Bronibooru uploader and uploading yourself!

Tools like DanbooruUp should work with it, although you may need to go in and tweak settings to instead upload to Bronibooru (e.g. extensions.danbooruUp.postadduri and extensions.danbooruUp.updateuri should begin with http://www.bronibooru.com/ instead of http://danbooru.donmai.us/)
