A while back ago, I made a few L4D2 sprays from various avatars. Here ya' go.

[Apple Eye Twirl]

Unpack the rar into:
......\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\materials\vgui\logos\custom\
Note: Due to how animated vtfs work in the game, they will be a bit slower in animation. Sorry about this.

I haven't tested them in L4D1 or TF2 yet, but they follow the basic guidelines. The only thing that could prevent them from working would be image size itself. I know TF2's file size limit is lower than L4D2's. Can't recall L4D1's.

It's a Mipmap spray so this image does not do it justice. Try it in game.

Ever since Ive been sporting a steam ponytar and spray, My sexuality has been questioned 7 times. Yes, I kept count.

Outside of Lowlydog's, which I'm gonna download later, so far I've tested every of the sprays in Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, L4D2 and Garry's Mod, and all work fine! So yeah, you're good to go.

Tried Lowlydog's in TF2 and it wouldn't upload properly. Think it's too big. Works great in my L4D2 game, though. :pinkieshrug:

That's really odd, I just played TF2 and it worked just fine when I copied the spray from my L4D2 folder.

What kind of OS are you using? When I try to import it to TF2 on my Win7 machine, it thinks the file is '4,096 MB' large. Which is clearly not the case. This is the exact same file that I have (and works) for L4D2.

I'm using Win7(64-bit). Are you using the import spray thing in tf2, or are you just dragging the two files to "\team fortress 2\tf\materials\vgui\logos"? I have been doing the second and have had no problems.

I'd like to see more Rainbow Dash ones, not only is she the best pony, but the rainbow coloration will really add to the "trollworthy" and/or "nauseating girliness" (or gayness as most internet types tend to label).

There are various programs out there to make sprays, but I can't find them right now. You could always give this a shot, though! Not sure how well it will work, though.

I tried it out with an animated gif and it shrunk it with a large border of white around it. Not sure if it was just a bad choice, or if I picked the wrong settings (purposely picked one that wouldn't have transparency though). I should probably just look into how to make animated sprays sometime.

I've been messing around, and found an easy way to make avatars into sprays.

If anyone wants their avatar turned into a spray, just post here and I'll get it to you ASAP. (Keep in mind, just because your avatar looks super awesome on the forums, doesn't mean it'll look good in TF2/L4D2. Especially since animations are slower in the aforementioned games.)

(Also, no, arisu didn't ask me to do this, I just thought the avatar looked neat.
