Will the synchtube calendar be updated, because all that's on there now is Comrade Cosmobot's synchtube in a week and it sounds like there are more planned than just that?

I don't think anyone's had anything set in stone for a while, plus the whole synchtube calendar is kind of undergoing maintenance at the moment.

Well, there are also Genisi's B-movie features that're gonna keep going.

If I could figure out how to get one of those synchtube accounts, I'll open up my own room. I will play nothing but 50's/60's/70's sci-fi, 30's horror films, MLP, MST3K episodes, retro Nickelodeon game shows and other random crap. It will be GLORIOUS.

Live, from the deck of the Jupiter II, it's ROBOT B9'S SYNCHTUBE EXTRAVAGANZA! EVERYONE IS INVITED EXCEPT DR. SMITH! HA HA HA!

EDIT FROM THE FUTURE: HERE IT IS. IGNORE THE STUPID USERNAME, IT'S THE ONLY ALPHANUMERIC COMBONATION I COULD GET TO WORK. http://www.synchtube/r/Dl12

Airing begins ________, with Roger Corman's The Wasp Woman, MLP: FIM Episode 3- The Ticket Master, MST3K- The Amazing Transparent Man and Billy Idol's Dancing With Myself music video. MUST GET THE VIDEOS READY! DANGER! DANGER!

OK, SO THE SYNCHTUBE WILL HAVE TO WAIT WHILE I TROUBLESHOOT IT. But look out for it...whenever it's ready... :fluttersmith:

This week in the B-Movie Double Feature, we'll be watching two MST3k episodes!

First up will be Warrior of the Lost World, an italian Mad Max ripoff starring that guy from the Paper Chase (but not that guy). Taking place in a post apocalypic earth, the wanderer heads to the east to reuinte with his other two brothers.

Wait, no, that's not it. The wanderer ends up in a fight against an evil Orwellian city-state called Omega.

The second movie on the docket will be Pumaman, an italian superhero movie. Tony Farms, a young paleontologist, is suddenly thrust into the duties of being a superhero by much more competent aztec alien priest Vadinho to combat the evil Dr Kobras, having obtained the powers of a puma from a mystical belt.

It'll be located in my synchtube room at the usual time (8pm EST).

Pumaman is pretty goddamn amazing considering the part of Kobras is played by Donald Pleasance, and some of the effects are truly awful in terms of quality. Also, Pumaman's costume is the best.

Sadly, I can't be around to see it seeing as there's a big festival in a town near where I live, they need Red Cross people, I volunteered and managed to get stuck with a 27 hour shift starting saturday at 11 AM CET and ending sunday at 2 PM, so I will be needing my sleep beforehand(And an epic amount of energy drinks most likely) At least it's supposed to calm down sometime around 1 AM and I'll be comfortably sitting in a tent for the rest of the night(But having to stay awake to provide first aid if required)

This also means that my Animated Pratchett Synchtube will have to be postponed until I find the time to do it.

I was thinking of trying to schedule a Mega Pony-thon throughout next week to buildup towards the finale. I wanted to ask around and see if it could get a forum announcement if it happened, but for now I wanted to see if there was any interest here and any reccomendations or ideas. As it is, without much thought, I was thinking potentially dividing the 2 seasons between Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday showing 13 episodes a night totaling at about 5 hours each day. We could move it over to not mix with Genisi's B Movie synch if people really wanted to do both.

This sounds like a good plan. I can't really think of a better way to handle that either, unless we want to be ridiculous and have 6/7 episodes a night for 8 nights.

Aw, man, I can't believe I missed Pumaman. That's got to be one of my favorite MST3K episodes EVER. ("HELP, I'M FALLING AT A 70 DEGREE ANGLE AND I'M BREAKING THE LAWS OF PHYSICS!")
On another note, can anyone tell me why nothing will upload on my channel? I've tried putting in every kind of youtube video there is and yet nothing will come up, all that shows up is a "loading" circle.

Here's a screenshot to help you understand what my problem is:

I guess I didn't say this, but I was hoping if the schedule was completely laid out, then people who couldn't attend could do their own catching up or possibly hold better timed synchs for Europeans/whoever if they could only make it for part of any of the synchtubes since we all know pretty much where or how to find the episodes if you don't already own them. No matter what times could be scheduled, I too wouldn't be able to make it for 100% of the time for each one since I have a lot of classes and labs throughout the week, so I was already planning on catching the episodes I when I get to the synch and watch the rest on my own time. The point is I think retrospectives for the series before the big events (like how I held ponythons before the second season started) could be fun and don't necessarily have to be everyone together at once, like a little organization into what everyone watches each day works out I think.

And I can just postpone next week's B-Movie Double Feature to saturday evening so you can run the last part of the ponython if need be.

Seriously, though, there only one show on TV that is worse than Level Up. And that's Toddlers and Tiaras. Paintube that shit. It makes you angry and depressed all at the same time. So, here's a quick "Aramek's Most Hated" top 3.

3. Ghost Hunters.
2. Level Up.
1. Toddlers and Tiaras.

Or just follow these instructions:

1. Open a word processor.
2. Roll a dice and consult the follwing chart.

one - fuck (roll again) me/this/all of you/these people/everything/shit hell shit shit fuck
two - AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
three - why god why?
four - (hit head on keyboard three times)
five - I'm going to hurt someone
six - no screw this, I'm out

3. Write down the result, and roll again.
4. Roll 50 times, writing each result on its own line.

Congratulations! You have now replicated the chat of a hypothetical Toddlers & Tiaras paintube, experiencing the most essential part without feeling compulsed to hit your screen and speakers with a wrench until they stop hurting you.

numsOic wrote:For the record, we have (or used to have?) a synchtube thread within the Ponies subforum exactly for things like this. It'll get more traffic that way.

That was this old topic and the new topic here, which pretty much got pulled into this thread as there aren't enough pony related synchtubes to warrant it's own thread I think and that older thread was just becoming a general synch thread. That is what I want to do though, since the main pony forum will be the main target, but the synchtube regulars here should be the first one's to consult I think. Ideally I'd want to ask the mods to set this up as a forums announcement, but I wanted to see how much initial interest is there right now and get a better plan before pitching it to the mods.

Also I like your idea Frosthawk, but that is only about 2 or so hours of Pony per day which I think is too small. With 13 episodes per day, that ends up being in the late 4/early 5 mark. There is also the medium option of the two, which would be 8-9 episodes per day being about 3 hours per day over the course of 7 days. I'd appreciate and I'll take note of the general consensus if people want to chime in with prefered attempts at when synch's should start or the plan for the schedule. Just don't complain to me anymore if you can't make it on time perfectly to each synch, because it's unlikely that I'll be able to make it too and it'd be run by someone else for a while. :v:

Jeez, it must be really bad to make you spend three-digit sums of money on something to break your TV with when chucking the TV remote tied to a brick at the screen would have the same, if not greater, effect.

Then I googled it.
