It seems Notch is more often "hey i have this fun idea let's add it" as opposed to Jens' "hey people want this let's add it". Those mindsets are both great in their own ways, but people are bound to interpret the latter as better because it's safer, giving them what they already know they want.

The question is: Can the current team refine the Enderdragon boss fight into something good? :v:

Basically, Notch's updates got mediocre after beta 1.3, and pretty much just dumb after beta 1.7.
Meanwhile, dispensers, pistons, the better save system(remember when save files were hundreds of times bigger?) and the smooth lighting were all Jeb's doing during Notch's lead development time, and now that he's in charge, the updates has just gotten better and better.

We somehow convinced republic to get the game by virtue of him being in a Skype call with me and snake at the same time. Dunno why! :v:

It's funny, because he just thought it was a "glorified building simulator" and/or "like Second Life with Lego" before people told him that no, it has gameplay elements beyond building and talking to people and it's pretty neat actually.

And all books are going to require leather to make. It's already enough of a chore to harvest leather now that cows don't auto-respawn. Good thing I have so many books already saved up for any future mega-libraries I may care to construct.

So I played last night with chunky, republic, momar, snake, and lazy. We all went on 2 by 1 cave adventures, where chunky proceded to blow up and we lost momar several times, who referred to me as a "fruity pink pony."

Then we fought the dagon.

(Luna doesn't have her horn and isn't magic holding the bow because the mod caches what model to use by the first one you see of someone, and snake was using a pegasus skin originally)

And fought it again because lots of the experience splashed on me instead of snake.

Edit: Oh and pzeper was there in spirit because of Livestream. :yay:

I would've been there for that except I had to do real-life things. Like writing things. And walking dogs. And not stacking blocks.

Do you like getting killed by people in the end after you told them they shouldn't barge in on a dragon kill, therefore not being able to recover your dropped tools and armor that're the equivalent of 34+ iron and like 3 stacks of arrows, and then the people who killed you repeatedly inviting your clan to a war on an otherwise non-PvP server because they're hiding near your house waiting to PvP kill you again?

Edit: This is actually the core of my concerns about this server because I was looking at the thread on bluehellproductions and you were like "oh it's fine" and I was like "welp I'm not playing here"

It'll probably be better to sequester ourselves from most of the server, it's really not worth getting into TNT fights with people over.

We do live pretty close to one of the End portals though.

This server's great my clan already has the starts of a cloud city and we're buddies with the Lunarians and Chunky's team Chunky team and we're all buddies and it's great and I like it.
