I'm pretty sure your scum because *regurgitates all past arguments*

This doesn't even make sense, why would I case a dude i'm not sure is scum? Am I supposed to preface all my cases with "WELL THERE EXISTS A POSSIBILITY THAT I AM WRONG IN THIS GAME BASED ON READS AND OPINIONS, BUT,"?

lison wrote:Looking back it seems the commander m also claimed third party. My bad. Still, thats an enemy of the scum they would ordinarily be unable to get rid of dead.

He even explicitly mentions it so its not like he missed that he was condemning commander m to death.

This is awful. I'm scummy because I condemned a third party player to death? Because third party players are enimies of the scum?

Are even being serious here because to me it sounds like you are trying your hardest to frame me using the most ridiculous arguments ever.

What.

I said you seem to be pretty sure of me being scum. I don't care what you preface your posts with, it's your tone that matters.

I don't think you are town because townies aren't so sure someone is scum on day 1.

The very next post I posted after the post he referencing where I call commander m a bulletproof townie. The first line is "Oh whoops, apparently commander m claimed third party. Well, whatever". Or something like that. And he is ignoring context anyway because scum aren't going to kill commander m if he is scum, and my point was he used his action with full knowledge that he was rendering a potential enemy of the scum defenseless.

Because, you know, hes aloud to assume commander m is scum to justify his action but I'm not aloud to assume commander m is town to case based on it.

fake edit: Bluh, I was going through all his posts in order and now I am speaking against these recent posts and getting all messy. Ugh my route is ruined!!!!

Lison was even SUPER SURE CommM was town and only realised CommM claimed third party later.

Think about it people. Which players can assume other people are town without paying close attention to the thread?

No, that's not my case. Not even close.

It's the tone that he's using. It's not just what he's saying but how he's saying it.

I will repeat it. Town players usually don't sound so sure of themselves day 1. And for one simple reason: town players start the game uninformed.

What sets the scum apart from the town? Scum are the informed minority. That's why the TONE that Lison is using is scummy rather than townie.

Go reread me. I called CommM third party from pretty much my first post. You are making a mess of what I said and distorcing things as much as possible to make the facts fit your case on me.

However I can tell you guys my motivations for using the cube day 1:

1) I had a cool power and I wanted to use it as fast as possible.
Good reasoning this isn't at all like a random dayvig no sir!

2) I wanted to try to stop or at least cut down in size the amount of jokevotes and jokeposts on this thread.
Ok, There isn't actually anything bad about the joke phase tho??
3) If I was going to give a "free" unblockable nightkill for the scum I'd rather have it be on the first night rather than later on. Because the less players we have on the game more likely it is for the scum to hit the cop or for the cop to hit the scum (because of less players on the game).
Thats great, except you didn't do this in vaccum, you did this when a bulletproof had claimed and now he can be killed for free. But oops, since we don't know if hes town FOR SURE its 100% townie my bad.

Also you didn't actually say anything about setting back all information roles an entire night !

The keyword is tone. Town don't usually use that tone because they are unsure of other people's alignment. When players use that tone they are usually scum because scum don't start the game nearly as confused as town players.

2) I didn't set anyone back a day at all.
All information roles have to wait another day before getting information. This is literally the definition of being set back a day.
3) It's only pro-scum if you assume town has better role powers than scum. Why are concluding this and/or assuming this game is unbalanced in favor town?
Two things:
1) The Town has more power roles then the scum.

2) You don't understand game balance because the sides are not on equal footing even before power roles are introduced. In a game with no vanillas, then town will ALWAYS have the power role advantage, but the sides are not unbalanced by this because the town doesn't know who to use their powers on by default like the scum do.

For instance, it could be the case that this set up is, in fact, balanced in favor of scum power roles and by taking everyone powers for one day I'm actually helping the town.

We can't conclude either way without seeing the setup doc though.

No, with no knowledge of the roles, math wins out in the end, and math says you disabled ~18-20 town/third party roles vs ~5-7 scum ones.

fake edit: Is your case you should get away scot-free with using a scummy as fuck power just because ~~~you wanted too~~~? Well I have a counterpoint, I want to lynch you. now roll over and get lynched.
