People eat cephalopods like squid, cuttlefish, and octopus, and those are extremely smart creatures. It's a very alien intelligence, though, and they don't share mammalian visual and audio cues that can tug at heartstrings.

Growing up in mediterranean Europe, I'm not ashamed to admit that I've eaten many animals including fried calamari (that looks like onion rings!) cuttlefish (only in paella, on it's own, it tastes like sweatbands.) and rabbit (pretty good if you cook it right).

But would I eat horse meat?

3 gigs? I'm assuming the list is just every character mentioned by name, and then one or more of those names repeated over and over again for a few hundred thousand pages. Or maybe it's just every single frame of the show, named one by one in order and then described in detail along with an essay on what is so cute about that frame.

Have a look at @ponyadvisory on Twitter. It's satirical "parental advisories" about things that may or may not happen on the show that might be disturbing to your little ones:

VIOLENCE: Spike calls a 900 number and runs up Twilight's phone bill. You can't hear the other end but Spike remarks "Oh yeah, I like flan."

VIOLENCE & GORE: The scene where Twilight wakes up animals does nothing but reinforce the stereotype that snakes are big bitey jerkfaces.
