She was roughly the size of a Shetland pony. Like so:

Whereas real ponies are solid masses of Muscle, and can weigh hundreds of pounds, the FiM ponies look a lot more skinny/squishy. Cool dream anyway.

I had a dream where I was walking through the 'flagship' Marshall Field's / Macy's in Chicago's Loop on my way to a gym that was underground and only accessed through a series of tunnels full of shops, etc. (all real- I went to that gym weekly)

I'm walking through the main floor where it's nothing but cosmetics, jewelry, perfumes etc.
And Rarity is glaring at me from behind the counter, her hind legs on a stool forelegs on the glass of a display case. I kept walking as if I hadn't seen her. Then I turned and said "Well maybe the dress biz didn't work out so well." She didn't say anything, and only kept scowling.

In RL, we went to the local mall, where I hadn't been for a long time, and some enterprising person has set up a bunch of bouncy castles in the store that used to be Waldenbooks. It reminded me of this place we used to go to as kids, Penny Whistle Park, which had a bunch of carnival rides and games in a big building.

So in the dream, my family (with all my siblings somehow under age 12) had gone to this mall where every storefront housed a different ride or game or concession stand. Basically an indoor boardwalk or fair. One place was particularly neat, it was like an arcade, but each machine let you join an ongoing MMORPG - like if you had to go to an arcade to play WarCraft instead of doing it on your PC. There was also a big theater screen where they'd project the most currently interesting thing in progress, so you could also sit and watch other people play. Apparently when you logged in you had to choose a guild, and in front of the arcade was a little area where they'd sell t-shirts, hats, mugs, keychains, etc branded with that particular guild - the Werewolf Guild, the Ogre guild, the Centaur guild, whatever.

Just like in waking life, I'm not into video games but I do like fantasy stuff, so I was looking at the t-shirts and suddenly noticed behind the counter there were a bunch of hot pink boxes with little cellophane windows branded "My Little Pony" in the G1 font. Inside each one was what a beanie baby sized, knock-off pony plushie, clearly a cheap knockoff. For example their "Rainbow Dash" was light purple and had a pastel mane, and their Fluttershy had a tie-dye yellow body and dark magenta mane. What's interesting is that they were made of some kind of nylon material with strands of nylon cording for mane, so they were designed to be bath tub toys. They even had a sea pony! I was still sorting through all the boxes to try and find the whole set while the cashier laughed at me, then I woke up.

I had a bizarre dream last night. It's hopefully not creepy.

Basically it started when me and some friends were going to infiltrate the Grand Galloping Gala to strike down an evil Griffon. We were lamenting that we didn't have enough sourcestone (a RIFT MMORPG reference) to open a rift that would let us sneak in, so we had to find another way in. My idea was to ask if I could go and hang out with Pinkie Pie (I dunno what my buddies did), which I did and she was excited to hang with me at the Gala!

Apparently though I didn't have a Tuxedo so I had to hit up and old friend and get his tuxedo. This took awhile and it made me late to the Gala, which made me sad because Pinkie Pie was waiting. So eventually I got my Tuxedo and got to the gala. When I got there, I found out that there were DRAGONS attacking and I had to go fight them with my friends to save the Gala! Pinkie Pie was like "nooo DG don't go" but I was like "I must do this". The dream then turned into a roguelike and I was fighting the dragon before I woke up.

There was a TWIST though: I was a minotaur.

I had a pony dream last night. It was pretty cool, actually; it was like an episode of the show, except Twilight and co. ended up in a castle ruled by an evil lord who'd gotten a magical sword away from some other king by grafting the other king's arm (holding the sword!) onto his body. The ponies had to escape, but only Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash could get across this big gap. However, they ended up using the Elements of Harmony and turning him to dusk.

...I have no idea where in hell that one came from.

Twilight is standing on a mini train thing that's traveling on a seemingly endless railway in a cartoony version of outer space. Everything I see has this neon look to it where it's composed of brightly colored lines on black, and I can hear a little bit of BGM that's kinda like this in style but not exactly. Twi looks along the tracks behind her and another little train car approaches with Pinkie on it. Pinkie has an all-white outline with normal fill colors and appears to be glowing, but she's posed in a sort of "crouching" position with her head down so her face doesn't appear, almost as if she's asleep standing up. Pinkie's car catches up and attaches to Twilight's, then Twi turns around to face the "camera" and says some mushy thing about friendship that I don't remember. She's then pulled out of view because of a downwards slant in the tracks or something, revealing Pinkie standing with her forelegs raised. (see "tons of fun!") Her face still doesn't appear except for a big solid white smile, which envelops everything as it hits my POV and the background music picks up a bit.

The whiteness then fades to a scene similar to the beginning of the show intro, but it's situated in a sort of badlands where the Friendship Express just zooms by. I then see a bunch of things from inside the train, like ponies just sitting there looking out windows and stuff as the scenery slides away. The BGM I was hearing had transitioned into a slower and quieter version of the intro song where there's only a line of singing every so often. (try to remix the intro with this in your head, i guess) My memory isn't giving me much beyond that, but I think the train arrived in Ponyville or some such place before I woke up.

Anyway it was a cool dream. I kinda wanna draw some of the earlier parts.

Apparently, Discord had returned in Season 3 and was going to "plunge the entire universe in Chaos" or something like that.
Just before the Mane Six were going to defeat him with the Elements Of Harmony, Humphrey Bogart came out of nowhere and shot Discord in the face with a small pistol. Bogart was monochrome, which really made him stand out against the colourful cast. Discord keeled over instantly and Bogart said: "No one pulls one over on Frank C. Dobbs" which was strange because he was dressed in Rick Blaine's white suit. The Mane Six cheered for him.
Then there was a reward ceremony where Bogart was given a medal by Princess Celestia. Bogart was weirdly indifferent to this and smoked a cigarette. He asked Twilight if there was anywhere he could get a Martini around this joint and then picked up Pinkie in his arms. They ran off into the sunset as she announced she was going to marry him.

...I gotta stop watching classic movies and MLP at the same time.

When I was little, I had a lot of Scooby Doo dreams, and they usually ended with Freddy shooting the ghost the first time they saw it, and the mystery was wrapped up a lot faster that way.

Archer has this bitter hard drinking shrew of a mother. My brain swapped her out with the cheerful Princess Celestia.

So last night he has a dream he was visiting the set where they film MLP:FiM - all the buildings and scenery and props and stuff are real, and they use a complicated CGI process to make it look like flash. Lauren Faust was striding around the set giving people orders because everything had to be placed exactly right or the process wouldn't work. I asked him how they made the ponies, but sadly the dream didn't last long enough for him to find that out.

Had another pony dream.

I was at the local park where a fair was set up in honour of the upcoming royal wedding. Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack and a couple of previous gen ponies were walking around, mingling with the crowd. A stage was set up where Rainbow Dash was going to give a presentaion explaining the royal wedding but they were having some kind of technical difficulties. The crowd was getting bored with the delays and night fell with still no show. People were leaving and this was making RD upset, the other ponies were comforting her.
That's about it.

I asked him that, but he's never seen the movie the whole way through, and then not since he was a kid. He said it was more like things had to be aligned correctly or they wouldn't photograph right, so people had laser measuring thingies and calipers. I think it's cause he's been watching me take 30 pictures of the same inanimate object from minutely different angles.

I had a weird dream last night. No ponies, just humans.

Was some kind of economics consultant and I was hired by the Apple family to help raise profits. I sat down and just went through economics concepts. Explained marginal costs, marginal profits, average total costs, elasticity of demand and supply, and a bunch of other stuff to them. I advised them to hire more workers to increase their production. Told them the best people to hire would be teens at minimum wage. Also told them that they could probably raise the price of their cider since demand was so high and they essentially had a monopoly on it. Since they had a monopoly on apple and cider production, I also told them they ought to find where marginal costs equal marginal profits and produce at that level to maximize their profits. I was given a bag with gold coins when I was done and just sort of merged into another dream.

And this is why I'm double majoring in Economics.

I had one that I'd made a couple plushies, and they had come to life and were jumping around eating the drifting fluff that's the inevitable byproduct of working with faux fur. I think that dreams telling me to back off on the sewing for a bit, or something.

I dreamed I was somewhere in Texas, and the Toys r' us there was putting on a Halloween event called "Pinkie's Brew", which played out like any other halloween party for kids (costumes, candy, gamed, etc.), except that Pinkie Pie was everywhere.

While I was at the Toys r' us, I decided to take a look at some of the pony toys. There was one which featured a Paula Deen action figure, and came with a silver tea set and then Twilight Sparkle dressed in a french maid outfit, and her face was more horse-shaped than normal. Another one was "Royal Wedding" themed, and had SA and Cadence in it, both together with Paula Deen staring at me blankly from behind them.

Not really ponies, but they are related. I'm standing in a parking lot and watching the horizon as the moon comes out. It's actually a very big moon and isn't reflecting sunlight (it's just some kind of brownish colour). As it makes it's way across the sky I notice stars appearing in some canyons running through the center. As more and more appear, awestruck I blurt out "My God, It's full of stars" and then notice that the star formation is taking the shape of Twilight's cutie mark. After I managed to get ahold of myself I took my phone and snapped a bunch of pictures. I woke up while hurrying home.

Last night I ha a dream Rarity gave me sea monkies fo my birthday
I threw them into the pool, but Rarity told me they would die because of the chlorine. So I scooped them back up and put them in a container full of dirt.

Last night I dreamed I was at the Las Vegas Strip, and there was a My Little Pony Store next to the M&M Store. For those who don't know, there's a very fancy store dedicated to M&M merchandise in the Las Vegas Strip.

The one time I went to Las Vegas was for the CES of 2010, and I tried to promise myself not to gamble. I broke that promise; however, I left Vegas a winner, as I bet on the Packers in their first wildcard game vs the Eagles. (At that point they were 1/12 to win the Super Bowl too.)

Back when I first got my MLP G1 dvds, it was not uncommon for the G1 ponies to canter around in my dreams. Not until the new G4 series, though, did I actually interact with them much. Talking to Twilight was weird as hell but seemed to make sense when it happened inside a Target-type store in a dream I had. She was also a lot bigger than I imagine they are based on the show. I feel like now that FiM s1 is on Netflix, I could probably watch enough right before bed to cause a pony dream.

Had first and worst pony dream. In it I was watching the last episode of season three. It ended up with Twilight stranded in our world. 'She never saw the Princess or her friends ever again'. Dream #ponyspoilers lost our collective shit.

I don't think I've ever had a pony dream before this, but I just had a slight pony-related dream from a little daytime nap. I was in a hall which had tons of mirrors lining one wall and people sitting in chairs on the other side of the wall in what looked to be a dance studio, though in my head I felt I was in a gym. I don't know if there was anything that prompted this, but for some reason some virtual reality like menus started appearing on the mirrors in front of me, and I touched the different menu styled buttons like on any type of touch pad while hearing some loud disembodied "You can [surf the net] anywhere!" (not sure if he said surf the net, but he said the anywhere part for sure), which made me think I was trying out some commercial VR thing. The site I happened to open up was, funnily enough, EQD! There wasn't anything related to the news and its not like I actually saw a front page, I just saw a bunch of colorfully coded menu options spread across the different mirrors and I recognized it in my head that it was EQD and I only pressed one button and I don't remember what it was but apparently it worked somehow. I don't remember specifically reading anything, but somehow I felt that EQD was saying that they were changing their layout, and it instantly changed to something else when I pressed a certain button. The VR or whatever interface seemed really cool to me as, even though it seemed like a touch screen thing, the buttons seemed to have some element of being tactile so I really felt I was pressing a button versus virtual buttons.

I walked up and down the hallway and saw some people talking, but I don't remember if it related to ponies or not. I DO remember, though, that at some point I had entered a library and looked at one section of a shelf. I forget what the section was called, but it was a stealth pony titled thing that wasn't obvious to me at first, but as I looked over it I saw Pony related books and recognized that it was ponies. And these were pony related fancy library research books, not like the merchandising novels or whatever. Anyways, I picked out one big book called "Galaxies, Stars, The Moon" which I thought was from this line from the show- Twilight Sparkle: You know that really old big blue book on stars, moons, planets, the Universe...? - so it seemed like a reference if it was kind of wrong.
