Don't the ponylons only draw 1 card for starting at the resurrection ship?

Other than that, the worst part of this is probably the consequence.. there's no way for us to keep that from happening if one of the ponylons plays a trigger card, is there?

There's a decent chance they don't have any.

That said, I'm inclined to say go for it. If we use Assistant Dressmaker here to make POL positive, DD is going to be in our favor, and we are rolling in cards - we don't know what Ashenai is sitting on, but really the worst I can think of is Bomb in Carousel Boutique or Sweet Apple Acres (Aka Bomb on Colonial One / The Farm), and as long as we say, get in range of Support of the Ponies, I think we can pass any SCC he throws at us.

So I am in favor of going for it and playing heavily in.

AJ, I would suggest you go trotting on over to the Main Batteries or CIC come your turn. It's fairly clear the toasters are hoping to take us down via ships, which means we should probably mare up in CIC, Main Batteries, and either FTL control or Command. Command does have the advantage of a potential 4 shots/turn on heavies, but they're at least one activation away from being worth shooting at.

Option B is tag the Engine room, so we can jump on my turn - with Putting it Together, we have a fairly good chance of keeping the fleet together on a -3 jump.

I hope your reasons aren't 'I have State of Emergency' because that would be a bad idea.

And if they are 'I can nuke something and then Major Victory', well, we have 9 Morale.

Really, Tapping Engine room for guaranteed jump prep so we can FTL on my turn is the best call.

Actually, they had more to do with the loyalty card you looked at. But if you want to jump soon that works too.
