The boss fights are the best part of the game. The inclusion of the health packs was an odd choice (more of an homage to old games I guess) since your life didn't persist through levels. I thought it was kind of funny how RD is forced to murder Gilda. My favorite was Hydra because a lot of the elements from the show were incorporated.

[MordjaLYRA is the cool pony who likes to hang out. You can find most of the cool ponies with her. LYRA can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the LYRA motto, for example, that's how laid back she is.]

Also, taking down Gilda with Fluttershy was oddly satisfying.

Iron Will kinda got the short end of the stick, he wasn't a villain like the others. He was just running a business!

Yes, taking out Gilda with Fluttershy was pretty damn awesome.

And yeah, poor Iron Will! He wasn't such a bad guy. He offered good advice that Fluttershy followed poorly. Don't treat him like a common villain. (I'm surprised Trixie wasn't one of the bosses)

I saw people talking about unlocking a Derpy level on 4chan but I am positive it was just a rumor/lie with a fake image. That would have been pretty fun though.

The heads are the only part of it that have a hurtbox, so you can just run straight past it when jump and hit it in the belly. Seems like most enemies don't unless they're doing an attack.

Yeah, seriously. I barely pressed the jump button at all during the levels with the pegasi, which is actually necessary to dodge some of the bosses (due to the quicker takeoff) so I'd always get hit at least once.

I'm dubious about Applejack's ability to climb ladders. On the other hand, I think kicking a griffin to death mid-air seems reasonable.

This owns a lot, it just took me a while to beat it because I suck at games.


My favorites bits are:

1.) The party cannon and applebuck moves. I find them oddly adorable!
2.) Same with Pinkie and Applejack climbing the ladder. Truly earth ponies are adorable.
3.) Tacit admission by the game that Fluttershy is best pony.

Fluttershy's stare is almost as OP as it was in that Fighting is Magic demonstration a few months back. The Stare just looks likea headbutt, but I've been waiting almost a year for the chance to headbutt Gilda in the face. Now if only they'd used Trixie as a boss.
