What was the best thread you ever created?
Not a poll, answer truthfully or face judgment.
For me it was the BSE thread I did with the extended objective, New Caprica. I got in such a storyline and despite some missteps (sorry Vulin) it had a happy ending.
Other one would be my fanfic which you are all obligated to read because I included you in it.

One time I did a Let’s Play of The Yawhg, which was a bit of a clusterfudge for technical reasons but despite that 1) I actually finished it and 2) there were some bits of writing I’m not unproud of.
I remember Octavia’s character spent a week as a vigilante and I wrote an entire superhero arc for it.

I guess I'd have to say my joke thread, but I'd give honorable mention to my retro video game thread.

Probably my LP of the lord of the rings card game, since that went on for a very long time before the forums died

I guess the best thread I ever made was the epic saga of my first visit to Utah

That thread owned and made me put The Yawhg on my Steam wishlist, but I still haven't bought it yet.Mechanical Ape wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 11:48 amOne time I did a Let’s Play of The Yawhg, which was a bit of a clusterfudge for technical reasons but despite that 1) I actually finished it and 2) there were some bits of writing I’m not unproud of.

I think my best thread was the "post borderline pony pictures" thread in the super early days of PPPP. Mods would probably disagree with me there, since they had to watch that thread like a hawk.

Every single thread that involved me carrying a meme thread pattern a couple steps too far only to go unanswered

This Thread is for Replying to Other Threads In
It started as a way to carry on a conversation in "post what you just said aloud" without breaking the rules (as well as being a joke I stole from another forum), evolved into a completely inscrutable mess of disconnected statements where you felt like you had found buried treasure if you could even figure out what thread was being spoken of, then reached its final evolution as a way to passive-aggressively subtweet other forums users before finally being ground into Thread Candy by Professor Moderator

I very much enjoyed the aggressively-passive-aggressive nature of that thread
