One of my favorite episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is Charlotte Fullerton’s Suited for Success. It details Rarity’s trials and tribulations in pleasing her friends and clients. As a fellow artist and designer, this episode is what really sold me on the show as something special. The episode and its featured song, Art of the Dress, pay tribute to the contradictions and challenges that are faced by creative types of all stripes.
