Crystal Fair in Helsinki, Finland is pleased to announce their first guest of honor: Tabitha St. Germain! The voice of Rarity and Princess Luna will be going across the pond to attend the Nordic convention, scheduled on July 4-6, 2014. It will be St. Germain’s first visit to a European pony con.
Everfree Northwest has announced that Tabitha St. Germain will be attending the convention in Seattle this July. The voice of Rarity, Princess Luna, Granny Smith and other characters, Tabitha made her first MLP convention appearance last year at EFNW and it seems she’s keen to have another weekend of fun this year too. She will be joining other guests at this years event at the SeaTac Airport Hilton Hotel and Coference Centre in Seattle from July 5th-7th.
If you wish to submit art, stories or other items for the convention handbook you’ll have until May 5th to do so.

Equestria LA is coming up in less than two weeks, but that’s not stopping the crew from announcing fabulous new guests. And this guest is the most fabulous of them all! Tabitha St. Germain, voice of Rarity, Princess Luna, Granny Smith, and more will be joining the growing guest list at the southern California convention.
In addition to the attendance of Tabitha, there’s a few important dates that people looking to attend the con should keep in mind. May 3rd is the last day to reserve a hotel room and still receive special convention perks. Pre-registration for the whole weekend closes on May 4th. However, you can still attend the convention by purchasing day passes at the door for $35 on Friday and Sunday, or $45 for Saturday.
EQLA will be held on May 10-12 at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California.
In what possibly may be a repeat of the Bronycon 2012 event, a fire alarm has gone off at Unicon Las Pegasus interrupting the Voice Actors panels and forcing attendees to evacuate the building.
The panel disrupted was ‘The Mane-iacs: Three Ponies, Three Princesses, and a Dragon’ featuring Andrea Libman, Cathy Weseluck, Nicole Oliver, Tabitha St. Germain and Tara Strong.
It seems the fire alarm was false, triggered by someone opening an alarmed firedoor. Sadly the VA panel will be cut short and only Nicole Oliver and Andrea Libman were able to continue a short session of questions after everybody was allowed back inside. Other events will continue was planned. You can watch Everfree Networks livestream of the convention here. Archives of the panels will be up on Youtube at a later date. ■
Andrea Libman (the voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy) took out the inaugural Best Voice award winning out over fellow Friendship Is Magic nominees Trevor Devall (Hoity Toity, Prince Blueblood, Fancy Pants, Iron Will) and Tabitha St Germain (Rarity, Granny Smith); Lee Tockar (Snips) was also nominated for his work on a separate show, The League of Super Evil.
Our congratulations go out to Andrea and the four other nominees for receiving recognition for their work. ■
Earlier this month we posted news about the Tubey Awards which had opened for nominations. Well the results are in and by popular vote My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic won the category of ‘Favorite Animated Show’ while the editors choice went to South Park.

During the San Diego ComiCon Hasbro held a private press Q&A session with the attending cast (and writer) of Friendship Is Magic which Comicsalliance.com have transcribed. The questions asked give a bit more insight to how the voice actors see the popularity of the show. The writeup includes the extended intro of the show and Meghan MacCarthy also rules out penning a potential movie length feature herself. You can read the transcript here.
Hasbro announced all of their brands’ official comic con presence today, and in addition to the past news we’ve mentioned, Hasbro has now announced the times for autograph signings relating to ponies. Tickets will be required and will be distributed at the Hasbro booth at 9 AM on Friday, July 12. The autograph sessions will be from 3-4 PM on Friday, July 12 and will feature Tabitha St. Germain, Andrea Libman, Cathy Weseluck, Tara Strong, and Meghan McCarthy. There will be items available for autograph just in case you didn’t bring your own stuff. If you’re there, make sure you score some signatures! ■
Tabitha St. Germain announced on her blog that she will be attending San Diego Comic Con, stationed around the Hasbro booth. If you can’t get to Everfree NW and are going to SDCC, it’s your chance to meet the voice of Rarity, Luna, and others! Though she was announced for Everfree first, this will actually be the first convention she’ll be attending this year. San Diego Comic Con is on July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center. Hasbro and The Hub will have a significant presence, so pony fans in attendance should be sure to check it out. ■
