I'm watching more of Vinny playing Tomodachi Life and I just got to the part where Vinny asks his friends what they think of him and help, I'm crying and also dying and also laughing, especially when Clown says he keep mistaking him for Cling On because that's just so specific and evil

Kat's magical, detachable tail was inspired by the silent-era Felix cartoons, where he frequently used his tail for ropes, fishing rods, and other stuff, so this felt fitting.

I'm not even done with the first episode and I'm already getting the same feeling. There's a fine line between genius and insanity, and its name is Nintendo.

I'm just mostly insulted that they're going for a "Sonic was a complete loner who has never had a friend until he became friends with a Generic Cop Guy" angle here. There's a reason "Sonic and his Shitty Friends" is a meme. The entire point of his character is that he makes friends super easy by being a charming and likable guy who will risk his neck to save anyone at any time. I guess Tails just isn't marketable enough somehow, despite literally being one of the most marketable character designs for kids on the planet.

At least they fixed Sonic's design?

Historically speaking: Like any other CGI + Live Action film it will suck and bomb hard despite the fixed design.
In my opinion it's a classic "I watch it when it's on a streaming site I've already paying for" movie just for the sake of curiosity and Jim Carrey's insane acting.
Although the trailer almost shows the whole plot and Sonic's obnoxious attitude that is stuck in the 90's.
Sonic fans might like that.

Packing up stuff I'm gonna sell at MFF to send to Chicago. Trying to figure out whether to ship it to a motel I'll stay at (a Motel 6 that's close to the convention center), or have FedEx hold it for me to pickup.

Anyone have experience with this?

You can often send things to hotels for the time you'll be there but deffo ask in advance

Problem solved! There's a Walgreens close to the hotel that can hold FedEx packages, so I'm going to have it shipped there, and I can pick it up as soon as I arrive.
