Right. Took me long enough to get down to it.
Here's one of my OCs Embers.
Stellar Flare reminded me about this OC when it comes to personality.
Embers comes from a family of well-off ponies. She has quite a few siblings herself and they all try to one-up one another. Just like Stellar Flare, Embers is quite industrious but one place Embers differs from Stellar is in competitiveness.
The CM is supposed to be a Fire Ant, representing two key traits: her unrelenting industriousness and fierceness. She herself is a mother of three: Metro Shade (♂), Meadow Howl (♀) and Morning Solitude (♂) -- in that order. I still need to flesh out her husband.
Here's Morning Solitude -- ponies just call him Sully because it's convenient. He took mostly after his father's side of the family.
This mother and son OCs were originally meant for a fan fic that I never finished. The idea is that Sully finally gets his CM after figuring out the meaning of his confusing past. He's a pony who learns quickly but never excels at anything. This has led him to fall short on a lot of things and has very often resulted in another pony getting their CM. Only when he figures out that he's good at helping a very wide range of ponies get their CM does he finally get his. Yes, that's the reason he wears that robe.
Then Crusaders of the Lost Mark happened...
I don't really know what to do with these OCs now but there is one other OC for said fan fic that I'm looking to "salvage," so-to-speak: Snow Perch.
He specializes mostly in water-related spells. Other than that, he knows basic telekinesis and making his horn glow to help him see in the dark -- basic practical magic spells like those. His good spells include allowing him to form a bubble around him when under water, allow him to stand on water and creating "magic fins" to help him swim better. His CM is two fishes swimming in opposite directions with water rippling in between them. In terms of personality, he's pretty chill in the way he expresses himself and speaks with his gentle voice fitting perfectly here.
