Now WOTC just needs to print a 5 color legendary horse and we've got ourselves a commander deck.

I mean warriors just got Najeela so anything is possible.

I've been playtesting Arcades as a commander, and the deck is kind of nuts. It's not cEDH by any means but dropping 4/4s for 2 cmc that draw you 2 cards and flying 8/8s for 3 that draw a card is pretty backbreaking aggro-wise. Plus Bant gives you all the counterspells, one-sided board wipes, and hate cards you need to keep Arcades alive and the bpard2under control.

It's looking like the first Bant commander printed in like 5 years is exactly what I've been looking for.

Wizards of the Coast is planning to release a D&D campaign setting book for Ravnica.

So the decklists for Commander 2018 and my favorite of the planeswalker commander is definitely Aminatou

She's cheap, she does one of my favorite things in Magic (blinking), and her ultimate seems hilarious if pulled off. Not sure what kind of deck to build with her but I definitely want to at some point. Also the lore around her is neat, her ability to see into the future allowed her to see her spark would eventually activate... So she decided to activate now because she didn't want to wait.

As for the other commanders I'm definitely building a voltron deck around this beauty

I just want a land to be my commander, and then I smash in with a Lobster Island

At least the color's on point. At BronyCon this year I went to a panel where they related the philosophy of the color wheel to various FiM characters and they used Shining Armor as an example of someone who's mono-white.

The conceit of fim itself is super GW making Twilight become more of a hippie as the show progresses, also rainbow dash isn't blue but Pinkie is totally red/white.

I'd thought of Pinkie Pie as red/blue. To me, her desire for desire for a happier society comes off less as a duty she owes to others and more that she feels she must personally master it, enough that she draws nearly all her self-worth from how well she thinks she's doing and not how happy other ponies are in general. Pinkie Pie also stores reams of information that she's learned on everyone she's met, enough to where I feel like she does it to some extent for the sake of having it.

I forget what the panelists thought of her, since after their spicy take of Rarity being Grixis-colored I was too busy thinking about that to remember when they covered Pinkie afterwards.
