Dear Princess Celestia, if it's not too late, I kinda need a new cutting board, too.
Edit it into your wishlist, too, if you haven't already. Your Santa might be checking again!

Note: While I'm on my trip to Utah, I don't have access to the Secret Celestia email adress. During this time, please direct any questions to me/your santees to my PM inbox. (just don't post any adress information or other personal info in said PMs)

To whoever my Santa is, I got your package today! If I end up opening it before Christmas, I'll at least wait until then to post it.

One thing I've forgotten from when the OP was more detailed - are we supposed to include our forum handles in the package we send or not?

You can, but you don't have to! Some people prefer to remain truly secret, even going so far as to use another (willing) ponygoon's address for the return address.
You should tell Perry when you've sent your gift. You shouldn't post in the thread when you send your gift, but it is generally polite to post when you receive your gift, so that whoever sent it knows it arrived.

You don't have to reveal yourself to your Giftee, but many do. Some just reveal themselves in the opening thread after Christmas, some sign the card in the package with their forum handle, and some include a clue or puzzle to figure out who it was.

Well, in the past two weeks I've gotten three packages in the post that are most likely Celestia-related, from different places! Due to some circumstances I haven't been able to get to the post office myself, but my santee will be very happy with what I've gotten, I hope.

To my not-secret Santa: Your large, internally complicated package arrived. I may have to open it early just to have time to document it, like a careful archeological survey.

Is there anything more nerve-wracking than dropping your package off during off-hours in the big post office bin, then noticing that tracking info online doesn't even have a peep of your package existing?

I mailed off a lot of packages with tracking numbers the past few months, and from my experience it usually takes a day or so for the online tracker to finally update.
Even then it really varies. Sometimes it updates almost instantaneous, other times after several hours.
