Pizza. It's not even close.

You can have hamburger as a pizza topping too if you want. :twiright:

And yes, I'm aware this is a joke post because of the gif vs gif threads.

Is there a burger pizza burger? Or perhaps a pizza burger pizza? I mean why stop there?

Tonight I'm having pizza burgers - burgers topped with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce, on romano-crusted buns. :-P Yum

Gimme pizza! P-I-Z-Z-A!
But really, a fine pizza is one of the best meals ever.
And that burger in the OP is terribly upscaled and should be made at least three times smaller so you could see how ridiculously it stands against a godlike Italian pizza.

Pizza, not close. More variety in ingredients/toppings, more flavour upside on the high-end of quality, and more cheese. :crack:

One of my favorite spots in Vegas is Hubert Keller's Burger Bar, and he knows how to make a real good burger. Anyone who went to the Chicago Season 3 Premiere Party also knows that Adelor Lyon can make a real good burger. I just think pizza is better.

I've had amazing both...but...

Shit.

This one is legit harder than the other thread...

I'e had both Burger Pizzas AND Pizza Burgers.

Like, if I had to think REALLY hard, like, "What was the best Pizza you've ever had" versus "What was the best Burger you've ever had"...I'm going to say burgers. (Don't hate me.)

Hamburgers have way more variance, in that bad pizza is still pretty decent and a bad burger is horrible, while the best burgers I've ever had were better than the best pizza. I do think burgers would be doing better in this poll if most fast food places didn't sell such mediocre burgers.

Voted pizza because I hate mayo and ketchup is for children. that leaves mustard and thousand island for viable hamburger condiments, and thousand island is essentially mayo + ketchup.

Wait, why am I putting so much thought into this :starity:

Your average fast food hamburger has enough mayonnaise to mortar the entirety of a brick house and typically comes with a viable roof shingle for that same house (referring to the meat in case that wasn't clear). But nobody hates pizza sauce in any amount, and do they even make bad pepperonis? I'm pretty sure every pepperoni ever made for a pizza place is the same as every other on a molecular level pre-cooking.

Veggie Burger vs. Veggie Pizza would be an even bigger landslide victory for pizza.

Home made pizzas are the best, you can like make your own dough and put on your own ingredients and do all this crazy shit with it

Home made burgers you just flip on a grill and maybe mix stuff in the beef, how boring

You can add your own shit to burgers too...?

But burger real estate is too small.

Mayo on its own is gross. It does, however, do good things when used correctly.

In a more sensible world, we'd be opening up our burgers to make sure they aren't filled with piles of oily white slime. I would think that'd be a setback! But no, apparently we want as much eggphlegm as possible.

I don't know about mayo but chipotle mayo is awesome on burgers. When I get to make my own burgers it has that, jalapenos, pepperjack cheese and red onions and oh my god.

Also the best burger I ever had was better than the best pizza, but I still voted pizza because pizza is better more often.

As an experienced pizza eater, I can tell you that you can't walk down in a public space holding a pizza box without someone commenting on how they want to eat your pizza.

"Can I have a slice?" :scootawoo:

"Hey, I see you brought me my dinner!" :allright:

"You going to invite me over for lunch?" :-I

Now I haven't tested this, but I doubt you get such consistent reactions walking down the street with a burger.

In short, Pizza is deeply ingrained into our societal desires, and shall always be superior. :twiright:

((Or, I might go to China Buffet as I'm a fat sack of shit.))
