The little 4 page, done in a few months one I picked up at Silly Filly Con (which was more like a 1 day meetup) last year looks better than that.

Somehow I don't think so. It was held in the smallest panel room they had, there were maybe three dozen people there and no PA system or anything. I came in late to it, but he and the other folks on the panel (from Valkyrie Comics) mostly took questions about careers in the comic industry. I asked him whose idea it was to feature the changelings in the comic, and he said it was Katie's. He had an interesting way of describing his approach to that: he felt that Chrysalis was more of a "monster" than a villain like Nightmare Moon or a god like Discord.

To be fair, NET and MAC can be correct in certain contexts (as in, .NET and media access control).
I like this:

A-20 Bronies For Good
Consistency over two lines? Nah, we don't need that.

Man, and we at GalaCon were fussing when we forgot a few things in the conbook and had a handful of information that changed.

Wow...now I can see why this failed so bad. Were these guys even PREPARED for anything?
I think Kefkafloyd can explain this better then I can:
This book was what the Spaniards call “el terriblé.”

From my personal perspective, the only good to come out of this con was the banding of the fandom together in a sort of solidarity to overcome adversity, and I won a bunch of cool stuff at the LPU auction. So that's neat.

Michelle Creber tweeted that she had an awesome time, as did Final Draft, so I would say yeah, it went well.

It took me a while to realize those were actually source links, since every other site I've ever seen uses "black dotted underline" to mean "mouse over this text to display a pop-up ad".
Also, they're reporting the "agents raiding the cashbox" thing as a fact based on a secondhand report of a dubious claim and a dubious secondhand report. And just when I thought we'd put that rumor to bed. This could get ugly(er).
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking isn't thinking of...

Did Tara Strong really fire her agent, or is that another unverified rumor?

Dubious journalism quality at best there. If that were a real news outlet they'd probably be a lot more cagey about reporting unsourced rumors as fact, without a lot of 'allegedly' and 'this person says' to back it up. And while one side claims the cash box was raided, and there are reports of an agent firing, I don't think there's any definite proven link between the two. There's a lot of reasons an agent could be fired, doesn't have to be related to this at all. Not that I'm saying it's not true, just that I don't have any proof that would make me comfortable making that link and reporting it as factual. And claiming someone has a "track record of shady finances" just isn't something you do, especially when your source is 'here is some google doc'. I mean, I can say that, but I'm just some random jackass on the internet, not a news source.
Also that image is kind of dumb. The bronies aren't going down with the ship. If anything the bronies should be depicted as the RMS Carpathia steaming in to rescue the survivors. (This has been your extremely obscure historical reference for the day)

Given their 'source' on Tara's info is Purple Tinker, well, that says volumes to me.

Not only that, but it's a screenshot of Purple Tinker posting on 4chan. Tripcodes* like that are hardly a reliable way of proving that the person making the post is actually a given person.
(Tripcodes are basically a unique password hash that a user can provide to identify him/herself across posts. Unfortunately, the hashing algorithm for tripcodes like the one Purple Tinker used has long since leaked its way onto the Internet, so it's now incredibly easy for someone to brute-force strings of gibberish through the algorithm until a desired tripcode is generated. That is, in fact, probably how she got a tripcode of !/tinkerbig, as the hashes are usually gibberish themselves.)
