Try adding a bit of salt and a grind or two of black pepper next time. If you're feeling saucy you could probably get away with adding something like grilled peppers/onions, or chives, or sriracha, or whatever other ingredients you like. Hell, you could even make your own pizza-esque grilled cheese with a light coating of tomato paste and a dusting of oregano and basil on the bread. Experiment, find things you like, have fun with it.

Of course, advanced techniques like this require leaving the comforting embrace of that unitasker* most foul, but in the end you'll be a better cook and possibly even a better person.

This thread is great because while I love cheese, I'm not very experienced. Part of this is because I live in the US, but I could still stand to seek out more obscure cheeses more often.

Based on my name I think you can come up with my favorite. It's not very creative, but it's good.

Cheddar isn't that great.

Now if you really want to party, you can't go wrong with a little Havarti.

Cheese is great for when you're blue, or feta up with life. If you're ever in a situation that's hard to keep baron, and you feel like throwing your hands up and crying 'YARG!", a spot of cheese can make you feel giddy as a cheerleader with her pantysgawn.

Why did you do that? American Cheese isn't real cheese. It's like wanting pasta but eating string instead because it looks similar. :bluh:

I know nothing about cheese except that cheddar should be extra sharp, dammit, but let me tell you I am so angry about American "cheese," just so angry. Like, always. At all times.

burgers aren't burgers without the cheese!

Plus I had no idea how bad gluten would be for me after a few months without it. :drpony:

Now I know.

I will never ingest gluten willingly again.

This is one of the advantages to living an hour away from Wisconson. I'll be damned if they don't produce some really great cheese.

Also the Johnny Appleseed looks so tasty I am tempted to run out at midnight to get the supplied to make it right now.
