You come to a forum where everyone is making joke's and having a great time insulting each other, post that you do not like the joke's, and expect everyone to say "okay" and not insult you?

Really?

I think we should definitely make an archive for it, but make it that only registered members can see. No one outside of this circle must ever see this madness.

Yeah. In other words, I expect this forum to be the same place it is on any normal day - there's a reason I come here and not SA. Or insert any other site where this shit is anywhere near the norm.

Welp, I am officially out of steam. Can I get joke banned for drunkposting so I can lay this gimmick to rest?

As fun as acting stupid and shitposting was, this isn't the kind of thing I'd want to be freely avalable and visible.

Were it so easy, yeah. That'd be nice. Or if our society was in such a place that you could just experiment with different gender expressions, and have it be a normal part of growing up.

No I mean why the hell did you post about it. What did you want accomplished besides being insulted? What was the end you wanted?

Note that you were asking about FYAD; this forum isn't actually anything like FYAD. It's more like what BYOB was like.

Same answer goes, though. But, if you can't stand it there's little point in complaining about it; it lasts for one day, then we're back to normal.

Admins, can I ask you a favor?

For all my existance on the internet, I've never been banned on a forum.

So, can you guys like temp ban me, so I can see what it's like?

Naw see, "fuck you" is literally the responce to every possible opinion with this style of humor. It's nothing personal.

I mean, I don't really see the appeal either, but if the other members enjoy it this much for whatever reason, is it really that terrible?

People are allowed to express opinions here differing than your own.

The only real honest praise I can offer it is that it provides a much greater appreciation of things that are not Johnny Test. I initially considered Adventures of Sonic painful, but it is still so much better than Johnny Test.

That's for certain. I'm still pondering what to do with it exactly, but the Testtube will make more appearances. It's paintube material per excellence, and makes me glad there are so many things out there that aren't Johnny Test.

Nope too late I have already composed the post. This is LYAT where we live at breakneck speeds.

Or as stated in the 1976 Eagles single Life in the Fast Lane, "Life in the fast lane."

I think. I haven't listened to that song in a while.

Next time you have a testtube (lol puns), I'll probably be in it. I've seen only the intro of the show on Boing and that alone was pretty damn bad. I want to see how terrible it really is.

The name of the theme is Lisp. :v:
I had a hunch it was meant to be unsettling, being April Fool's Day and all. Unfortunately(?), the influence of good character design from the actual show plus your graphic design sensibilities actually resulted in a theme that, by regular internet standards, is not that bad. The static background is... , but the colors of the theme are only slightly bold and not awkward at all. If you pull up some thread and scroll through it, everything is quite harmonious even with people's avatars and signatures. :pinkieshrug

It used to be more obnoxious but I toned it down a bit.

Most of the colors come from Twist's actual palette which are not all that objectionable, TBH. I wanted it to be annoying but not TOO annoying so that it would be just inviting enough for people to post while still being weird compared to the usual themes.

I am clinging stubbornly to ponisilver on the "real" forums so the Twist theme that is based on the newer, inferior styles is doubly novel to me.

Who knows, maybe after all this is over I'll be inured enough to dumb looking thread titles that I can finally switch to one of the new themes full-time.

edit: By dumb looking thread titles I mean font and other presentation, not word composition. Though LYAT has that in spades too :snoop:

No, but this was the one free day I had this week and I was looking forward to catching up on a few topics I haven't been able to keep up with. Maybe discuss the ponycomics I just got copies of before I had to spend the rest of the week doing a Twilight-level freakout about tests and such.
